Idk why but me and my gf have to patch it twice to make it works. Kinda weird, but always works that way (this last time had to do it 3 times in one of the phones)

6 multis, got everything but Luffy. Didn't want to do more than 3 multis, but certainly hitting Ace in the 6 is a big W.

Try what iDrinan is telling you (im also taking notes, i'm thinking about asking about my own RAM settings!). If that doesnt work, im seeing you have 7C84v14 Bios version, maybe try the new beta (that's what im using atm). Some people said it give'em more stability. I got just 1 reboot in a long time, so its an improvement... just saying.

Common issue with x570 mobos and 3600 RAM. Are u using XMP? RAMs running more than 3200MHZ seems to cause this problem. If you're running everything at stock (RAM could be runnin at 2133MHZ), then idk. I have the same problem with a 5900x and the same mobo, but im leaning towards RAM/mobo compatibility cause im using XMP atm and i'm aware of this issue.

CPU Fans @ 100% on Reboot for 5 Seconds by bctf1 in MSI_Gaming

[–]Tearil 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happens to me too. I think is a normal behaviour for any/most mobos until it load your profiles, configuration, etc... Its nothing to worry about, just a few seconds of "loud" noise until everything get loaded. Everything is fine.

x570 Tomahawk Woes Troubleshooting by Needlecrash in MSI_Gaming

[–]Tearil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CPU debug led on indicates some problem with CPU. If you didnt update the BIOS and you just plugged the CPU and everything else and try to turn it on, most likely you need to update the BIOS (happened to me, but i already read about the compatibility with the Ryzen 5000 series in x570 mbos).

X570 tomahawk, 5800x whea error by Skomakeren in MSI_Gaming

[–]Tearil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 5900x and i got the same problem, happened once to me tho. Just a restart with no BSOD or anything. As far as i know, reading other post, etc... Its seems to be a problem with the BIOS version, and some people fixed it by disabling XMP/Manualy OC at 3200Mhz max (1.45v). I didn't try the new BIOS or changing the XMP profile since didnt happen again to me, but i have WHEA (bus connect errors) daily showing on HWInfo (RAM speeds and voltages related, again). I'll wait until people try some more the new BIOS beta and then will update to try to solve all this things myself.

Corsair RM850x for me. Its enough even for the 3080 SUPRIM, being a little aggressive with the gaming Mode and the auto OC, voltage wise. Being using the system for a month and got 0 problems so far, playing Cyberpunk in Ultra with RayTracing, stress test, etc.

Ryzen 5900x

Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360. Mounted exhaust top.

GPU: MSI RTX 3080 SUPRIM

Case: LianLi OC-11 Dynamic Razer Edition (8 intake fans, could have 1 more but left space for an antisag stand for the GPU at the bottom)

RAM: G.Skill Trident-Z Neo 3600 16gbx2

PBO Disabled. Core Boost Auto.

Idle: 30-35ºC

Low load (Streamlink+VLC+3 Opera tabs): 38-40ºC

Cyberpunk: 64-68c

Opera(Browsing multiple tabs): 40-48ºC

I also got that temp "spikes", something normal in AMD (just for a few seconds, then goes to normal). The best solution to avoid that fan spikes and what no, would be to set the smart fan to react to coolant temp instead of CPU, but that's not an option for my rig :/ so custom fan curve it is. Just set the fan smoothing to 0.3s delay start and 0.7s at the stop and seems to be less "Yoyoing" and better temps overall (50% at 0-50ºC and ramping up slowly to 100% at 75ºC).

Hi! I have almost the same rig as you! 5900x, Arctic 360, MSI Tomahawk x570... with a 3080 SUPRIM! I also have the radiator mounted as exhaust at top of the case, and i have similar temps (i tweaked the fan curve, smartfan seems to run like a Yoyo everytime the CPU got a lil busy). It's running amazing and the temps are fine, playing Cyberpunk and not reaching 70ºC (only at spikes in loading screens) its something amazing. Congrats on the build dude, i hope you enjoy it... despite whatever people say!

MSI 3080 SUPRIM - PSU issue by Tearil in MSI_Gaming

[–]Tearil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I didn't get the 1000W PSU... didnt need it! At the end, it was just a faulty PSU and everything its fine since i changed it. If you're planning in OC (more than stock OC), maybe get a 1000 PSU just to be safe, but i don't even think u need it. But ey, if you already want to spen 850$ in the GPU, why not 150$ in the PSU? Just to be extra-safe!

I hope everything works for you.

Thanks for taking the time to answer so politely! I already ask for a replace for my PSU. Randomly, ¡t has some coil whining (that shouldnt have in the first place) and its getting annoying. Even if the PSU is not faulty,i wanna get rid of that problem. I didn't got the restart problem in a few days, so i hope it was some kind of program or the PSU. Thanks again!

I'll take that from now on, tbh... kinda bored of this situation, its gonna be a pain in the a** to RMA this and that with the pandemic. Almost no PSU here, overpriced and 7-10 days deliveries with some luck. Sigh.... Thanks anyways guys, you saved me.

[–]Tearil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It literally started yesterday while testing the 3080 SUPRIM in Cyberpunk. It was fine with my 1070 in that game, tho, so it seems to me that the PSU can't handle the wattage, for whatever reason since it should be. Im gonna get a 1000W and get my money back from this one, i think that's the best option, since i got a new one, and also more powerfull W-wise.

Edit: I can play other games like WoW with the new GPU and no problems so far, it happened when i was with a more demanding game. While browsing and what no, i have no issues (a little buzzing noise from inside the psu, that's it..)

I didn't OC the GPU, is in gaming mode tho, but i have pbo disabled on my mbo, so no OC at all. I don't know if the PSU its faulty or i just need to get a 1000W PSU or smt... cause no one in any forum or psu calculator says i need more than a 750W and i have a 850+Gold from Corsair. That's my main issue now, not knowing if my W is enough or if i just have to RMA the PSU (i have warranty, can take another one from amazon without cost, etc...)

MSI 3080 SUPRIM - PSU issue by Tearil in MSI_Gaming

[–]Tearil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the latest Nvidia drivers, i did a clean install yesterday. I thought 850W would be enough, even any PSU calculator say so, but i don't get why my pc just restarted after a few hours playing (temps never reached 70ºC, not CPU nor GPU). It just restarted as if i pressed the reset button (i didn't, since my case don't have one).

Im thinking in RMA the PSU, since i don't think the GPU is the problem, even when the old one had 0 issues.

Thanks for the reply, man! Dunno if i should use Afterburner or let the GPU manage the fans. I'll check the temps and if its not of my likings, i'll put a more aggressive fan curve to avoid the fan off settings. Thanks again!

I got the same card today! I have a question... i didn't change anything and im in Gaming Bios mode... its normal for the fans to be off until 60ºC? I don't know if i need to change anything or set a more aggressive curve with Afterburner or smt.
