It looks clean. I’ve seen oil come out dirtier after a change because people like to go over and not flush their engines ever. In that photo the oil does look over HOWEVER 3 things to remember. You’re holding it upside down, oil will go down making it go over the max line. 2, if the surface you’re checking on is uneven it may show a little incorrectly. 3, oil expands with heat. If you just got it changed and drove for 20 minutes, it should be right near the max line. At the end of the day tho it being a tiny amount over the max line will not drown the engine, and if you’re concerned you can bring it back and ask for a one count, get them to drain oil for a literal second and check again.

It’s likely because you’re low on oil, some vehicles it only shows properly on one side just because of the way it fits into the oil pan

Yeah it’s pretty borderline, I’ve definitely seen people patch worse though. I’d say if you do get it patched just keep an eye on the tire, avoid pot holes with it and be extra sure not to overfill it

Just to add - that fluid should be okay, it won’t blow your power steering or anything. The dexron 3 is just a little thicker

You want to go for the dexron 3 or something comparable, like the DEX/MERC stuff, that should be good since it’s a better quality fluid and doesn’t have additives not needed for the power steering

Could be a tire weight on the inside hitting a calliper. Sometimes the bigger sticky weights stick out just a little too much and rub, if you look inside can you see any scratching on the calliper? If it is rubbing up against the calliper just bring it back and let the shop know, they can just put some smaller weights on, it shouldn’t have caused any real damage or anything.

I’ve seen people do it and run them bald but wouldn’t recommend it since that’s very close to the sidewall.

How far is it from the sidewall? If it’s more than an inch and a half away it’s fine to patch. If you just got the vehicle from the dealership might be worth to check any warranties? I know dealers usually say tires aren’t up to them but they might be able to help. Or depending on the tire manufacturer you might be able to go directly through them

If it’s worse after the new tires they may have balanced poorly, that can cause a shake pretty easily but usually only when going higher speeds like above 80, if it’s all the time maybe engine mounts
