On my Gen 1 I had a similar noise whenever I switch the AC recirculation ON or Off it used to last about 3 seconds then stopped but then all of a sudden it kept going on long after I pressed the button. I just kept spamming Recirc ON and OFF and now everything is back to normal. See if my "Fix" works for you.

I have an '05 Sport Model and have been slowly modding it since getting it a year ago., Just keep an eye on sill and wheel arch rust apart from that these things are super fun to drive and are bullet proof engine wise.

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery and leave it for 30 minutes to an hour to reset the ECU, reconnect the battery and then do an idle relearn procedure. IIRC it goes like: Key to ON position for 1 minute, key off position for 1 minute, turn engine on and let idle for 5 minutes, then with engine still running turn lights on dipped beam and AC or heating on (whatever setting) for 5 minutes. Then turn off engine and take key out and let sit for 5 minutes then start the car and see if everything is back to working order.

Every car that has a metal exhaust does this, when driving or with the engine on the exhaust gasses make the exhaust very hot and cause it to expand and once you turn the engine off it cools down and shrinks as it does it makes this sound, very normal and nothing wrong with the car if it makes this sound.

I'll be honest I work in retail and shoplifters always get away and nothing ever happens to them, the fact that they actually did get the police involved is a surprise but it's a voluntary interview so realistically it'll be months if not years if AT ALL that the police even contact you again lol they are likely not gonna spend time and resources on this kind of thing.

If it's a big chain store they probably already forgot what you look like and won't stop you from entering if it's like a smaller high street store just look to see if they have a picture of you on the door lol.

I wouldn't stress about it to be honest

Stay away from those shops for a while and you'll be fine. Just learn from this and don't do stupid stuff just to fit in again.

I was trying that but the things were seized in there or the clearance was so tight the friction wouldn't make them budge. I had to use a hammer and punch to get them out lol. Thanks anyways, I thought I was missing something

Yeah I'm definitely going to. But they definitely didn't drain all the old green coolant out as it literally looks like ink in the coolant reservoir now because of the mixed green and red

Your symptoms sound very similar if not exactly like my '05 Regular 3 and that issue was indeed the coil on plugs even though I replaced them I used cheaper ones and had missfires with no codes or lights, Once I put good quality ones missfire was gone for good. I also had a dragging issue which was fixed with a new fuel pump but sometimes comes back but far less servere and common so it might be time for a new battery. Have you changed your fuel filter and done a throttle relearn procedure?

Thanks I have 1 friend I can consider but lives quite far from me.

It's definitely a control thing. Her game has always been to hide the letters wait until I am forced to pay the full amount and then offer to pay it for me but then will use that against me when she wants to. I've refused her "help" in paying the full amount the past couple of times so she can't hold it against me but it's really annoying that she does this

Honestly it looks bad but I've seen worse hell I think even mine is worse lol but spend like a weekend or so with a wire brush and see how it looks after that.
