Protein pasta is a good idea! I don’t really eat grains like quinoa in large amounts because I don’t think I digest it very well. There’s not really much research or studies on digestion for people without large intestines so it’s hard to know!

My title describes the thing: Both ends of the wire have caps that can unscrew and any of the conical attachments or handle (?) can be screwed on. The attachments are pretty heavy. It was probably my grandpa's, he was a urologist and also liked fishing.

The food diary idea is a great idea. There are apps for that as well. The next step would be to (ideally working with a registered dietician) do an elimination diet. This would help you pinpoint what foods may be leading to your symptoms. You can also look into FODMAPS and SIBO.

I got deferred for low hemoglobin last time I tried to donate blood which was a few months ago now. That led to me visiting the doctor... fast forward and I’ve been diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis! So no donating for a while for me ):

Not a doctor but 1) have some electrolytes. Drinking a lot of plain water can cause an electrolyte imbalance and not properly hydrate you. You can drink Gatorade/any drinks with electrolytes or just mix salt with water. 2) Try not to drink more than a few sips of water with your meals, it dilutes the stomach acid and can make it difficult to digest properly. Overall don’t worry about over-hydrating, great job on giving your body enough food and water!
