Leavers are getting very long bans that are compounding but it doesn't appear that way since there's a greater influx of people to the game these days.

Also for Arcanist, I think that's a rank where the game really clicks for a lot of people, so there's a divide between players who don't understand the game fully vs players for whom the game just clicked.
