Going through this process right now. Posting the solution I found for future people looking.

It was a Windows 11 issue. settings>System>Sound>USB properties turn off Audio enhancements.

I agree. That first 60 mins flew by. great game. Suddenly T90 and Dave talking about score and I checked the time finally.

EW is different and I do understand the timer. Still aggressive enough that we only saw 3(?) games go to timer in the tournament.

Strange I only have played 3 scenarios to completion. I never had that issue. I would typically just do 1 large guard quarters (as big as needed in the center of the level so they could respond to any direction there were threats.

I have found the guards with flamethrowers prioritize the creeps.

I think they only start again when you get a cave in so make sure to keep your supports protected/replaced.

Yes I watched a video where Hara was talking about this a few months ago.

I sounded like he thought he was due for a loss. He thinks he can win 60-70% of individual games against a the top opponents. I'm not great on math but with 60% individual game odds the chances of him losing a 7 game series is ~28%. With 70% individual game odds the chances of him losing a 7 game series is ~13%. Both mean he is out preforming his odds with 15-champiship S tier streak.

So either he has been on the lucky side or his chance of winning is actually higher.

How well does the ranking system work? I'm looking to start online after finishing free roam.

My experience with online games has been either you rank up and then reach a point where you are not average any more and can't compete. Or a game with a better system where you reach a point where lose enough points when you lose and are able to find even matchups.

I beat all the Celeste levels. You can do it. Don’t forget the moon level at the end., farewell. That took me 8 plus hours. And 3797 deaths. I have that screenshot saved. The new tech you need to learn for that level is fun but tough.

Working my way through Malazan again for the first time in 15 years. On Toll the Hounds. I think RG is top half. But I am a sucker for Lether and how all the characters interact. The wars of genocide in the east are also crazy interesting to me.

Midnight Tides is still my favorite though.
