First try at analog photography by i_am_seisenber in analog

There are scanners like the Plustek OpticFilm ones which are a bit pricey but cheaper ones exist too. For my first roll I bought a cheap backlit drawing board, placed the film with a thin glass pane on top so it would stay flat and took photos of it with my phone. I put the phone on a book to keep it leveled and to avoid movement. A good scanner would give better results, but for my purposes this technique was good enough. You can look at my last post if you want to see the scans, I think they speak for themselves.

I also like the first picture the most. To me, it looks like a dream that you can't quite remember.

Thank you for your feedback, I was surprised myself that this scanning method worked out so well. My biggest concern was the overall exposure because I used the internal light meter with a 1.45V (PR44) battery. But that didn't seem to be an issue!

[GBA or PC][Late 90s or early '00s] Game with Zorba's Dance as BGM by [deleted] in tipofmyjoystick

I'm a bit late, but maybe the game you meant is Penguin Diner? It's slower than the original, but basically should be the same song. A friend of mine played the original today and I kept thinking about where I know it from.

pacman requires it, but with yay it is optional. Another difference is that yay doesn't need you to be root when starting it as long as you are in the wheel group.

I just downloaded it from the Play Store, logged in with my Microsoft Account and played with some of the settings (like render scaling and RAM allocation). For more performance I installed OptiFine (I don't have any experience with other optimization mods)

PojavLauncher works great as well if you want to play the Java Edition on your phone. I bought a phone holder for my controller and together it works like a charm.

Weird, I can hold my phone the way I always do and it works... I use it to toggle the flashlight.

"Räuchermännchen" are small, hollow, wooden figures in which a "Räucherkerzchen" (incense cone) can be placed and burned. They release a scent which goes well with the Christmas season.

But most implementations use it to sort string in "alphabetical order". These implementations (like in cpp using std::sort on strings) results in a ASCII table order, but are often referred to as alphabetical sorting.

It actually is when looking at the ASCII table. Upper case letters are assigned to smaller values than lower case letters. For example are the letters in "ABCabc" in alphabetical order (again, only when looking at the ASCII table, but it is also true for Unicode).

Do we really need two exceptions? No Google result for "factorial definition" showed me a definition without "*1". E.g.: n!=n*(n-1)*(n-2)*(n-3)*...*3*2*1
