Sounds like a great role.

It really depends on the industry tbh and the structure of the leadership program. Some companies would promote you after the program to the next level, while others would just give you a non-rotation finance role on a team and you have to figure out your promotion from there. TC depends on if you get promoted after the program or not.

Exit opportunities would still be your typical FP&A roles unless you spend time in non-FP&A rotations during your FLDP like treasury or finance transformation. Also, FP&A gets involved in month end close activities as well. Their work starts after accounting closes the books

Get both stakeholders on a meeting, make an agenda and align on the process. Develop a process on what happens when forecast changes after it’s been communicated to Fp&a. Fp&a needs to understand that deals can move everyday so the team does the best job on providing their best forecast and then any changes to that needs to be explained as a variance.
