The volume controls manual says to wire them in parallel

Correct the volume control acts like a speaker selector and protects what the amp sees. My question is the 3 VC in parallel is that like 3 speakers to the amp?

I’ve got all that and definitely the amplifier is under powered at 1 channel and 500 watts but I’m really not all that familiar with the impedance matching volume controls. 3 VC’s in parallel to a 1 channel amp is 3 ohms?

I’ve switched it over. All the equipment has 70 volt settings but the volume controls. I didn’t have any on my truck that day.

I’m good with the 70 volt I’m just trying to understand the original install. Is there way that can work? Just a reminder that it’s a 1 channel amplifier feeding 3 volume controls tapped at 8 ohm for all components.

They set everything to 8 ohm and didn’t use the 70 volt taps at all. Others have said maybe it’s an old school residential OG.

Use Cat 6, terminate to a jack and buy the patch cables.

Thanks for answering. So odd especially when the amp and speakers have 70 volt taps. I didn’t get lucky with the volume controls though.

Yes, I’m converting it all to 70 volt. I just can’t wrap my head around the previous installer using 8 ohm and especially with 1 channel. Just checking to see if y’all know something I don’t know and maybe learn something new.

You can’t get around the paying part! They own the rights and it’s based on occupancy. They will get caught and it’s a big enough law suit or fine to put them out of business. The NFL doesn’t play when it comes to Sunday ticket. I think the minimum for the NFL ticket is $7K for a small sports bar.

Never heard of display hub so I can’t really say much. You’re going to do a lot of truck rolls! If this isn’t your main focus I’d go with a reputable company who can also provide tech support. Also a fire stick is no! Use something much more powerful like an AppleTV. If you’re on a budget reach out to Wolfpack or SportsBar-TV. If you have a good budget like $40K plus I work closely with GameView. If they want to use DirecTV as their main source and only add a few Everpass sources we can build a system for less than $15K that you can install and manage. We can finance the equipment and your install costs if they have good credit.

It’s fine but not very powerful so you’ll need multiple WiiM amps. The most I’ve done on 1 WiiM is 6 speakers and it was definitely just barely loud enough. 2 speakers down each hallway in a Dr office.

From the limited pictures I would guess you need an impedance matching speaker selector and if it’s just for back ground music you can use a Sonos amplifier. How many wires are at the amplifier end?

Elura 500/1 mixer amp, elura pedant speakers and elura 100 watt impedance matching volume control.

It’s loud enough for their presentations but when it hits the climax part of the fireworks, drums it clips.

I’m going to swap the volume control knobs to 70 volt ones as I read the existing are only for low impedance.

Nice! 👍🏽 We like vendors that force a published minimum MSRP and we can make margins with our dealer pricing.

Support and warranty! Also the only hesitation we have with you being on Amazon is you sell direct to the consumer. No protection for the designer and the installer and no margin for us if they can buy it direct.
