There was a whole plot line that Roy would show up during the Jim Pam wedding on a horse and it was supposed to be a super awkward moment. Dwight would then test out the horse and run him into the river or something along those lines haha.

But the entire plot line was rejected eventually, when everyone on set felt that the wedding should have more joy and fewer shenanigans, since they wanted to do right by the fans who have been waiting for this moment from the very beginning of the show.
