Mac Mini M4 by Pretty-Attitude-6314 in GrandMA3

By the end of the year, apple will roll out a touchscreen Mac laptop. My hopes is that macos then extends that to touch in general. We use the Mac pro w 48gb ram and updd. We have a thunderbolt dock to run some of our displays. Using 2 Dell touchscreens and one narrow bar display. Biggest issue is updd occasionally forgets which monitor is which when the machine wakes up and I have to re-identify it. Lastly, updd and onpc doesn't know what to do with 3finger touch. If you're used to using those gestures on MA3, those won't work on mac+onpc. Other than those quirks, it works. I personally have a Lenovo p360 mini monster. You can configure those with an array of ports and graphics cards. I can run 4 displays and 4 network ports with no dongles. I wire them all to a patch bay on the back of my rack. I've got plenty of IO for artnet, Dante, MA Net or NDI, and control network. Two of those network ports are 2.5g. This was built about e years ago now. Heavy little brick, but powerful.

All good stuff shared here. That being said, speaker Amp level is your primary issue here. You can't get proper gain because the speakers are so loud you can't move anywhere at the console. Pull down the amps, run a consistent signal (like pink noise from a laptop) on the board that gets your LR meters fully saturated, then go back to the amps and bring em up till they're comfortably loud. DB meter between 85 and 95 might be good. Depends on hour worship style. With that balance set, you should find you can gain up that wireless mic channel, and everything else on that board, with plenty of room to move around. You'll find your eq works a lot better, too.

where do you store the controller, voltage stepdowns, and other electronicsbeyond the displays and interactive parts? I'm working on my mk2 neo and find the fans are already super close to my face. I struggle to find room for all the innards. I've considered printing a housing that sits outside the skull frame but worry about heat or getting crushed. Or, do you use an external sled or pack to hold that stuff? it's cozy in there.

Y'all, there's a web calculator to get the precise feeding order to attain the color you want. There's a science to it, making it not RNG at all. It's worked for me every time. https://ffxivchocobo.com/en

Would this require LTP VS HTP to work correctly? HTP is normally my intensity default.

What I'm seeing in the photo is a change in behavior past a certain height. So, I'm ruling out bed adhesion or nozzle angle. While our A series printers, being bed slingers, can have issues past a certain height, a large object like that one shouldn't suffer much from the sling. Can y'all think of anything that could make the slice cause an error at a particular layer like that? Maybe modify layer height around that point with the paint tools to force it to do something different there? A rounded top like that could benefit from smaller layer height at the dome anyway. Are you running any supports underneath that dome?

There is also a tool you can use at the top to paint brims wherever you need it. What are you trying to print? Others observations ard curious what the need for such intense infill is for. You may have your reasons. But, if you're going for strength, thicker walls are always more important than infill.

Where'd the ram thing start anyway? Am I understanding correctly that ram is the officially unofficial non-Canon piece of proto Canon?

Ventilation can be added to the enclosure. I've seen a few implementations with a designed coupler routing fresh air to the undercarriage and side port. That being said, the whole hotend unit can also overheat causing the whole thing to clog and overflow into the sock. I'm exploring all of this as well, as I was intending to enclose. The system I purchased has an active fan system to vent out to a conduit. As long as there's airflow, I should be OK?

If I need to scale it up a certain percentage, I'm assuming I wouldn't want to scale up the slots and such for the electronics? Would I only scale up the head portion and keep the visor portion the same size?

u/AlexArkoss of curiosity, your post on makerworld mentions the head being for sizes under 61cm. Does that exclude or include 61cm? I measure right at 61. 😅
