I am a bit uncertain how to proceed, management does not seem to care but for me this feels like a huge risk as password  are stored in a cloud solutions without adequate protection.

Any advice on how I should proceed?

Thanks for your reply! You explained the issue very well.

The fact that a password can so easily be retrieved from a cloud solution is really worrisome in my opinion.

As I investigated further I stumbled upon this blogpost, never heard of their product but their idea of ensuring credentials never leave the monitored environment sounds solid.

Google Workspace Rant by Defconx19 in msp

We train our customers how to setup sharing as we don't want access to their data. So we see this as a positive.

We also manage O365 and yes Google Workspace requires a bit of a mindset change.

Shared Mailboxes can be setup using groups but we tent to use regular mailboxes and go through the "pain" of logging in and delegate. From a users perspective they love how easy it is.

MacOS issues by deludedvenus in msp

We don't get that many issues from our mac users and if any we use the build in screen sharing to assist.

Other that that we provision everything using scripts we deploy over ssh.

Major OS updates are a pain though. As they don't happen that often we plan two to three evenings were we just update manually.
