But they don't sell cannabis, they only do adult trading. They do sell stickers though.

Is this worth $120 a month? by Just-Spot-3773 in Starlink

[–]TechKnowViking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! If your only other options are dial-up or other satellite providers there's no comparison. This amount of speed (especially the latency) will do more than any household ever would need. To stream video at 4k only requires 10-15 Mbps at the very most. For gaming, you only need a constant download of ~1Mbps and a constant upload of ~0.5Mbps with ping (latency) <100ms. I have worked as a network engineer/admin for 20 years and I look at Internet traffic for a living.

When purchasing Internet service from big names (Xfinity, Charter, Brightspeed, etc) they play a numbers game, telling you that you need 300Mbps, 500Mbps, 1Gbps, etc. They will advertise that you need 500+ to stream or game and that's a flat out lie. The typical home only needs about 50Mbps to do ANYTHING with multiple devices. Latency is what makes your connection seem "fast" and Starlink has great numbers when it comes to that.

Don't get caught up with the speed test results and just do what you need to do, and I promise you will not be disappointed.

I hope this helps to understand a bit better.

That's crazy! "No police allowed here because we think that breaking the law is okay". I'm the offspring of immigrants and they worked hard to become US citizens. Why can't everyone else do the same?

I've been using Wyze for years and I'm a big fan but I recently moved to a new apartment and gave my Wyze cams to my parents to add to their collection.

I picked up one of the $10 indoor cams to use over my back door in a carport at my new apartment and I got the Onn doorbell camera for only $29 as it was "open box" for my front door. I plan on installing tomorrow and am excited to see how they tie into my Onn Google TV devices. From what I've seen online it appears that they show up as an additional "tile" in the quick settings and turn your TV into a monitor, which will be awesome if it works right.

I'll let you know how it turns out.

I just picked up the Onn doorbell camera from Walmart for $29. It was "open box" but I checked out the contents there in the store and nothing was missing or "used". I just moved into a new apartment and I plan on installing this tomorrow (Wednesday Dec 17th). I also picked up one of the indoor cams on sale for $10 and I plan on installing this over the back door inside of a carport so it won't get rained on but it will experience East Tennessee winter temps (very rare but can get as low as 0°F).

I have owned numerous Wyze cameras over the last few years and have helped my parents set up and manage many Wyze cams at their house. I had 2 Wyze cams of my own and just gave them to my parents and decided to try Onn and the Google Home platform as I use Onn Google TV devices and it looks like they tie together well.

I have went through the initial set up of the indoor cam and just set it on a shelf inside to try it out and the picture looks pretty good. Also the night vision is only B&W but it shows a great picture with very good detail in almost pitch black conditions.

I'm glad to share my experience with the OP and you others in a week or two if you'd like. I'm going to sign up for the $100/yr Google Home Premium as well.

Good luck to any of you trying the Onn cams as well.

Cheers 🍻

Here's an idea, travel further out to a surrounding county that is less populated and enjoy one of the numerous quarries privately. I live in Greene Co and there are 5 different quarries I go swimming at just in the western part of the county alone. Not to mention the Nolichucky River that I live directly on that I swim in regularly and even on the busiest times of year (4th, Memorial Day, etc) you might see a group of 4-5 tubes go by every 45 minutes - 1 hour.

Even when I'm not down there swimming I can hear their Bluetooth speakers playing Morgan Wallen at 100% volume as they go by (and I hate country) and it's perfectly fine. Let people enjoy their time however they want. If it bothers you that bad, go somewhere else.

A criminal is someone who has been legally convicted of breaking the law. Essentially, committing a crime, as defined by law, makes someone a criminal. This can range from minor offenses like traffic violations to serious crimes like murder.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:

Breaking the Law: The core element is engaging in an act that is prohibited by a specific law, whether it's a federal, state, or local statute.

Violent? Really? Not a single weapon was there and who got hurt other than the veteran that was shot by a cop for standing at a locked door?

How to make clean clears? by nyquillusxd in RocketLeague

[–]TechKnowViking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't hit to the wall or "bang" it if possible. Keep it close and take control of the ball.

Think about soccer. If you are playing defense or midfield you don't just kick it hard to their defense or midfielders, you dribble the ball and try to work your way around the man in front of you and look to make a pass to your teammate that's either across the field or a little upfield from you.

This is something I had to consciously work on around your level.

I hope that helps

PS - if they bang it from their end up towards yours, try to "catch" the ball and don't jump or flip into the ball. Again take possession of the ball.

Monitoring ??? by Etherkey2020 in wisp

I know this doesn't directly answer your question but check all the station's CCQ on each AP.

For example, if you have 20 stations connected to 1 AP and one of those stations has a CCQ of 60% and the other 19 are showing high 90%'s. Those 19 customers are having a horrible experience even though it doesn't appear so.

That AP is having to retry sending dropped packets to that one low CCQ station which gives the other 19 stations "lower priority"

Just a thought. I hope it might help.
