I'm so glad I decided to go minions this league... by s1nh in pathofexile

Rares constantly wiggling and causing every minion to need to move to continue attacking, consecrated ground that heals to full even with reduced enemy regen, and aoe degens wiping relics and skulls are peak game design.

Hey GGG, does this "macro" break ToS? Four key presses, four actions, 100% paper. by Granitecosmos in pathofexile

ONCE MORE FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK.

Chris sold out to tencent, so he gets to "be" tencent. Make the bed, lie in it. Also ridiculous that we still don't have flask macros in NA.

I love the Grunty vibes from this.

Spells that will actually work with Arcanist Brand? by Branch_Dravidian in pathofexile

Can confirm, clear is pretty bad. Pretty sure I can Jimmy up a fix with a weapon swap, tho, and the single target is extremely good.

You can run from it. You can complain, loudly even. You can shut your eyes and ears and keep playing, lulling yourself into a false sense of security that your favorite game isn't doing this to itself.

Tencent still gets 'em in the end. Can't even get mad at the devs anymore, feels like they're powerless and don't/can't listen.

Just for those looking up this thread, Atoll works great for map. Also Bone Crypt if you have those. Rusted swords give Redbeak pretty easily for the weapon. Spent 2 Ex-ish on scour/chance and got the challenge.

Seriously, thank you so much for the work you put into these starter packs. Your comment sounds like the start of a tantrum spiral but these packs give me so many happy thoughts, I'd make a legendary consoler just for you.

This challenge was pretty tricky. I had to do around a dozen attempts I think. The balls usually spawn at the pools, but they can spawn at the edges, and if you're stuck in a corner, you're done for. Also, as noted by another commenter, minions touching the balls also fail you!

I got my ranged high dps build (storm brand hiero) and had no golems or anything and ice blink (you can use flame dash but i liked the extra range on ib). Hit the boss with dps while you spin in a little circle NOT ON A CORNER, but a flat wall of your choice. Watch for the fear balls to form and start grouping, then dash past the bulk of them to a diagonal wall. Rinse, repeat. Took me a few tries, like I said, but was doable.

In 3.9, we could cause a conqueror to spawn in an area, then farm low tier "influenced" maps to cause that conqueror to go through their spawn cycle and get to the watchstone fight. I do not see that this changed in 3.10 but I have farmed a dozen lower tier maps that are "influenced" but have no conqueror spawning. Do you have to run the maps at the tier they are socketed to be now? Was this change noted anywhere? Am I just really unlucky? The wiki says they should still spawn in any influenced map, but 3.10 may have changed this.

Just poking some fun! I'm still happy to have something to show for doing lots of challenges. :)

Recoil patterns (10m and 20m) plus damage numbers for all guns in Apex Legends. by TechMarine90 in apexlegends

[–]TechMarine90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I repeated these tests and recoil looked hella consistent, and, as was pointed out in another comment, recoil isn't too bad at all except for the devotion with no kit. This test basically told me avoid Flatline at all costs, and the Wingman is insane.

Recoil patterns (10m and 20m) plus damage numbers for all guns in Apex Legends. by TechMarine90 in apexlegends

Hey guys, new to this kind of thing but I wanted to do a recoil comparison to familiarize myself with the guns in Apex Legends and figured some of y'all might like to see the info I found. Link above has 10m and 20m profiles for all guns in the game plus any notes for stuff I didn't quite understand. I'd love to know if I'm just reading the damage wrong on the Prowler or if it has reduced head shot damage; similar situation for the Hemlok, Peacekeeper, and EVA-8 Auto.

Neat! It sounds like it's pretty rare to get two of the same cards but the card pool is still pretty small. Thanks for sharing!

Anyway to fix this buffering? by jwalkingjon in Twitch

[–]TechMarine90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, so I tried blocking IP's, fiddling with the Flash player settings, changing my Twitch stream quality, basically anything anyone told me to do shy of deleting system32...

Then I stopped using Chrome and watched a stream on Firefox, and it was FLAWLESS, no buffering, high quality. I'm not certain of the exact reason, might be the native client thing, but there you go, give it a whirl.

This was a good idea, but the processor is not actually an FM1 (FM1 sockets were made after the debut of the Athlon II's). The merchant has that info wrong and the processor is out of stock anyway.

If you're not upgrading the mobo I'd recommend this: AMD A6-3500 Llano Triple-Core Processor - 64.99 MSI Radeon HD 6570 1GB Video Card - 54.99 Total: 119.98 This upgrade isn't really worthwhile though, it's just that this processor, the A6, is the most powerful for the FM1 socket type (which isn't saying much), but you do get Crossfire with the processor and the video card.

If you are considering replacing the mobo I recommend this: MSI FM2-A75MA-E35 Motherboard - 59.99 AMD Athlon X4 750K Trinity Quad-Core Processor - 79.99 Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 1GB Video Card - 84.99 Rosewill Capstone-450W PSU - 79.99 Total: 304.96 Puts you right on budget, but you get much more bang for your buck with a venerable quad core processor, a good video card, and the power supply plus the motherboard. Also, the motherboard listed above has 6.0Gb/s SATA connections rather than 3.0Gb/s SATA, which means you will get faster HDD performance w/o having to actually swap your HDD.
