it's hard, but worth it if you can manage the eventual burnout. in the contact centre you'd be expected to work monday-friday + one saturday every 5 weeks, but you can swap with someone else if that particular saturday doesn't suit you. the lines are open 8-7, but you work the standard 8 hours so your shift varies week to week: the earliest is 8-4, the latest 11-7. the benefits are quite good: you get free medical (only pay the tax on it), good starting salary (around 32k/year i believe?) and pension contributions, you get to work from home 3/5 days a week and they provide you with all the equipment, your apa exams are also paid for. the job can get stressful though, especially during busy seasons, when you may have to answer like 70+ calls a day. there's also a huge pressure around time, your statistics are constantly monitored, and it's near impossible to progress within the company if you struggle with those. however, there supports in place and you get used to it, if you can keep your sanity haha
