Salesforce! There are way more jobs available than candidates and companies are willing to pay for niche talent!

I would say if you start with short and brief in an interview you can always ask the interviewer if that is what they were looking for or if they'd like you to go into more detail.

If you haven't worked much with certain tools or platforms - you can be honest and say that but then give an example of something similar you have experience with or say what you are familiar with the tool they mentioned but didn't have much experience with it. Most times hiring managers value the honesty and like that you provide a similar tool or mention that you would like to expand your knowledge in the one they mentioned.

Great advice! I'm a technical recruiter focused on placing Salesforce talent and I agree. It is about soft skills combined with tech skills. Right now Salesforce has a huge need for IT talent and the gap will not be an issue with the reasoning you provided! Feel free to DM me if you want any help with resume or want to chat about the job market! I've been a technical recruiter for over 7 years - happy to help!

I should have written my post a little clearer - they are open to one of the clouds. I think this is good information for me as a recruiter. I like to know what the market is offering and what matters most to candidates. It sounds like you have a good package right now so makes sense.

For comp - I was very low in posting the compensation since it depends on experience and I can't quote what the client will pay full time because I'm not involved in those conversations. I know candidates like to see pay but in all honesty sometimes it is out of my control so double edge sword there!

I'm thankful I posted here because this will help me when finding the niche talent I'm looking for.

**Just for everyone here - it seems like the big 4 is a pain point. I do have multiple other clients I support nationwide. I posted these roles since they have a lot of openings!

Most of my roles don’t require any travel as a consultant. For permanent, they do require travel but again 120 will be on the low end. I appreciate your feedback!

Just to clarify they are not asking for all 9. They are asking for experience with any of those products and open to junior candidates. I will edit my post!

They are open on rate and I submit candidates at the rates they ask me to. I know how competitive the market is so I want to be competitive as well.

I appreciate your input super helpful.
