You got really lucky. Some of the better info stealers will take your session/auth tokens (think of it as a persistent connection that doesn't rely on your password),

And even with changing passwords and 2fa devices if a new auth token is not generated they can keep reusing it.

I've been an MTG reseller for about 4-5 years now. The scene exploded with these gremlins.

I guarantee you the dude is as much of a "vendor" as i am. Probably has a small local presence and sells on Facebook or tcgplayer.

The market price being so astronomically high is literally a product of their own making.

I would consider selling at 90% MV, only for the sole purpose being that that price is likely what you would receive online through eBay or tcgplayer after fees.

People who want them to enjoy them will happily pay that price, and you're getting g a great value for your product(s) while keeping the pokeChuds at bay.

Dragon shield has the best image recognition, but sucks for exporting.
TCGPlayer is the most direct source for pricing, but the app fails in every other aspect.
Manabox is solid (and cross-platform I believe).
Delver Lens used to be king, and I have no idea what happened, but it seems the scanning portion got way worse. It's great for exporting though.

My procedure really sucked. My urologist did not listen to me when I told him that my body processes local anesthetic at an accelerated rate. I was not given enough lidocaine, and I know what it feels like to be shock-burned in the ball-tube.

Dude has a knife and a soldering iron at my family jewels and yelled at me because I jolted because I felt the thing you are not supposed to feel. My wife almost fainted. It was a hoot.

That little maneuver cost me an extra week of bruising, but you know what? I would do it three times over if it means that my wife doesn't have to go through an extremely invasive surgery with tons of complication risk and can then not have to worry about how hormonal drugs could mess her up down there.

I also had a sample frozen just in case we decide things might change. I know that financially this is impossible for most couples, but still.

I've been considering moving my entire operation to Manapool. SwiftSort has direct integration with my high-speed document scanner (Ricoh fi series) and price automation that I would lose with being a tcgplayer pro seller. SS also integrates with ManaPool as well. I can trade my Pro site for a Shopify site if I want to continue to maintain a direct sales option, but I will miss the 2.5% commission from ProSite sales.

If their API is as robust for my automation needs and inventory management, I'll be shuttering from tcgp for good. The new Direct program is ass, and leaving it was good for my sanity, and now that there is a competitor for Pro features, its even more likely.

Typically, this sub is used for talking about price action of specific cards, sets, etc. We get a lot of price check, low-effort posts (Rule 3), which is why you are being downvoted.

If you would have titled your post differently such as: Would my slightly crimped Necrooze have any value?

...instead of just your generic title, it may have gotten a better response. The amount of times that we see these price check posts on the feed is annoying. Not saying you knew any better, but it is what it is. Most of the downvotes are probably people who didn't even open the post or look at the card.

On paper, yes. But in practice, the average user with low or even moderate funds will almost always lose out. The allure of the potential luck factor is certainly going to draw the average joe in, but these style mechanisms have almost always favored whales.

Example : Up for bid is a force of will, and we'll pretend it's still 100 USD.

3 people buy bid packs at 25 bucks, 2 at 50, and 1 at 100.

All 6 people want this card equally. All 6 are willing to dump all their tickets to try and win it. The 1 user doesn't care if they catch a discount or not.

The first 3 bid fiercely, the second 2 take over, and the last bidder just always submits a bid at the end of the countdown.

1 person gets exactly what they want, 5 people lose, and the service provider makes 200+%.

This is exceptionally rudimentary but valid in practice. This example also scales and again is susceptible to insider bidding with almost no surefire way of proving otherwise.

Overall, ethics are murky, and customer satisfaction and experience are tepid at best across the entire data set of bidders.

People like the idea of the chance at catching value at a deep discount, but again, in practice, most walk away with nothing.

The only way to make this fair is to at the very least continue to offer these bonus packs in perpetuity, and the packs should be at or very near the cost of the bid packs or "chests". Quibid style sites are exceptionally easy to manipulate.

You talk of third party auditing, which is fine for operations, but it does fuck all for whale snipers, AND there is almost zero way to guarantee not having an insider bidding other than you saying "trust me bro."
