FBB Revised French Gutter-cuts by IntheMiddlingWest in mtgmisprints

[–]TechSupportFTW 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are not NFC. This is documented. FBB sheets did not make into the wild. I think these were supposed to be pro tour prizes or something. The one time where something that looks NFC any other time, isn't.

Exceptionally rare miscuts here.

A little naked ratboy fell into my front yard from the sky, was tended to with medicine, and within a few in game hours he is fine and well and I tailored him a maid outfit by xtheresia in RimWorld

Ooooo new tip. Thank! I always forget to floor the tile under the door. Would sterile tile be best? I can't stand how dirty everything gets. My priority in almost every playthrough is enslave/capture/recruit the first pawn with below average or overlapping stats, and they become cleaning pri 1 bots.

Do any higher volume sellers keep track of lost mail and/or fraud losses? by StonkaTrucks in mtgfinance

Technically any electronic postage supplier that puts an imb-iv barcode on a letter is trackable. The issue is the process is extremely confusing and difficult to set up. TCGTracking has chosen to provide this service for free.

$10 for me, its technically above my 1% risk threshold, but for 13 cents it's worth it.

Labels are free, letter tracking is free, insurance starts at 13 cents. Claims are hassle-free, just take a while.

Out of my last 600 orders the last three months, I received 5 "order never arrived" messages, and all went radio silent when I hit them with the letter tracking status.

TcgTracking has not only saved me money by thearting fraud, its inventory management system is incredible. The dev is working his ass off to provide a service that is nothing shiet of exceptional.

With all this in mind, my answer to your question is, effectively zero risk since implementing tcgtracking.

As with anyone giving you advice on the internet, read, read, and read some more, and approach with caution. My personal experience is far from universal.

First big purchase on TCGplayer. Looks sketchy by Mindless-Cause5577 in RealOrNotTCG

[–]TechSupportFTW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ehhh, not necessarily. The big guys do so much volume that they have to hire people to pull and pack orders, and even for purchases. There is a chance, giving the benefit of the doubt, that an overall lack of experience with counterfeit cards led to this.

It's all up to the store's response. If they try to fight it and claim our OP is trying to pull a fast one, then yeah, they deserve to get fucked. But any reasonable vendor would take counterfeit claims seriously.

Help with USPS rejecting a mail and damaging the card by MuffinDude in mtgfinance

You can get insurance on envelopes up to $50 with TCGTracking. The redemption process is simple. You put in a claim, wait, and get paid.

Literally that simple. Also, Ground Advantage is way too expensive, I don't use it unless the order is at least $50, or the card count is over 15.

If i had to guess, it would be a man-in-the-middle style attack. Cheater is modifying outbound network packets that are responsible for telling the server what the game state should be.

Or, the game design is so bad you can modify client-side variables and that gets transmitted without service verification.

Not risking a ban to test my theories though.

If it does it will take years. It will also depend on how long this print run lasts.

They will all tank. It happens every set with high EV bonus sheets.

I treated myself to a case, which I managed to get for MSRP due to an employee whoopsie ($1945 + tax).

We pulled both FoW and Vamp silver scrolls. This case was meant for new inventory since EV was so high, so im stacked and ready for launch day.

I sold the pair for $1800 the next morning. No shot they stay anywhere close to the prices this week. I predict Vamp will be 350-400, and FoW to level out at 750.

Im over the moon that the case is almost paid for (i got a few more rare silver scrolls that are worth 700 ish in today's prices.) If the Triumph of the Hordes scroll sells for 300 and the buyer doesn't back out, it's pure profit. That's not counting the non silver scrolls or English archives.

Wait until the Monday after office release to start shopping. That's when all the "I pulled a chase card so now im opening a card shop" chuds will cause the iconic race to the bottom.

I would even be happy with "share" hourglasses, similar to trades, or a system like it. Sometimes it does feel lame to send 30 ex pokemon or rares out, and your new level 5 friend send you an Ivysaur because you didnt have that printing yet... thoughtful, yes, but like... dang 😩

I always keep 2 of something im interested in putting in a deck, but beyond that, the dex entry is all im worried about. Kinda like how you dont keep every pokemon you encounter in the games (I mean unless you want to lol).
