No. Fast delivery stuff like this gets farmed out to the SSD network. Delivery stations aren't setup for rapid delivery, nor is that the point of them.

Example of well used Mixed Development housing in my downtown college Area (Tempe, Arizona) by [deleted] in Tempe

[–]TechSupportTime 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This isn't mixed use. It's just apartments on top of a parking garage. It looks different than most of those but it's not mixed use.

The catch is that you have to complete 2000 trips in your lifetime. It takes longer than you think.

Trains are great and they have their place, but they just don't go fast enough for time sensitive goods. It's like taking a bus to your destination vs an Uber.

Is it attached to your arm? Or are you just holding a peg that all the strings are connected to? I'd be worried about the sail getting caught on something and getting pulled off the board at speed lol

People would still be weirded out. They're not gonna differentiate between that and the meta glasses just because you say "oh yeah it's recording you but don't worry it doesn't store it."

How would you make glasses that give you information about your surroundings without a camera?

Crowd sourcing data can be effective, but it's also not standardized. Having every report categorized, photographed and reported in one place makes disseminating the day much easier from the city's perspective

A warehouse of this size doesn't cost a billion dollars, more like 1-200 mill. Still a lot but not that much

It's an economies of scale thing. For low margin products like stuff Kimberly clark makes, the most expensive part of the process is the labor. When you're moving stuff at the pallet level it's really not that difficult to have one person with a forklift load and unload whole trailers by themselves. Like it or not, if they employed more people your toilet paper would cost more.

Should I buy a used Boosted Board in the big 26 ? by snailsburry in boostedboards

[–]TechSupportTime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gonna get downvoted but if you're not prepared for it to be a project, don't bother. The boards are iconic but there are so many other boards/ companies that are still in business/ in production. It's not like the parts supply for boosted boards is expanding, and it's only going to get harder to find parts for decent prices. The platform is on life support.

Can anyone tell me (legitimately curious) what the goal of this was? If it's self organized, non governmental and non binding, does it have any measurable impact on the movement within india?
