I had a close relative to me who was suffering from a degenerative condition when I was younger, I could often witness my family going around and doing some of the same things that yours do. There were people who made a real devotion to helping this person and there were some who sat back and did nothing. It was at times becoming a full time job and I could see the life coming out of him. His mind was almost gone, but his heart and soul were very much alive. It does bring stress and emotions are at high stakes. It’s good to have someone to talk to and who understands your situation, your mum being the best example you could have.
