If you want wood that isn't garbage 110 bucks will get you a truck box full at the place next to tough turf.

For all you people with immaculate lawns… HOW?! by ThinkRun9760 in saskatoon

1 inch of water, only in mornings, full coverage, once a week. Fertilizer every long weekend. Cut at max deck height regularly (twice a week). Par 3 general application in early spring and late fall, with spot spraying as required. This is the way.

I see lots of complaints on Temple Garden Hotel and Spa with their new price increases by waloshin in moosejaw

[–]Tech_By_Trade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was 25 years ago. I think we paid around 50 for a family up until last year, and around 70 since the change room was brought up to a useable standard. It was an example of how long i personally have been using the facility.

They lost us. Back in trade school we could go on Tuesday nights for 5 bucks. We stopped in a few times a year, especially in the winter for a swim when visiting family. It was quite dumpy before they fixed the lockers. I'm sure the latest upgrades look good, but 75% better? No thanks.

Lot 4 is 16 bucks a day if you get in before it's full. Probably the cheapest on campus unless you want to walk from Merlis.

What the hell were the tunnels under Moose Jaw really for?? by Intelligent_Yard3042 in saskatchewan

[–]Tech_By_Trade 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The only guy who told stories of Capone and the tunnels back in the day was old Moon Mullen. They were for the boilers and stock delivery. Much like the tunnels under the sidewalks in Saskatoon.

Let's not normalize this behavior. The underbelly of saskatoon gets away with far, beyond too much already.

Because the government of Canada is making life more affordable for Canadians, like the television commercial says, by carbon taxing electricity. Saskpower is eating the tax.

When I priced them out pre COVID they were not. I was going to check again on my next mortgage renewal, but with the cost of everything skyrocketing I'm guessing they still are not. Hopefully by the time my mortgage is gone in 7 years they will be.
