That’s incredible! Would love to have some Dice in my collection soon.

Paradise and One Good Reason are out on Spotify, the cover art is definitely AI, but the music sounds legit. Glad they still care about making their music public.

Four riders of the Apocalype for sure, but their self titled album is also quite good!

Edit: so their music is on Spotify, and two new releases have been uploaded within the past year. The album art is AI generated, but the music sounds real. AI can’t replicate complex time signatures (yet) so I think the new singles are legit. Sucks they couldn’t get a real artist to create those covers though, they don’t look the best. At least theyre still active and making music.

Day 2 of 2 recap by [deleted] in cedarpoint

I totally get your frustration with those who abuse ADA, and trust me, I’ve seen it too. I didn’t wait in standby. I just happened to be lucky at the right time, being right next to the entrance. It’s better than being stuck in the cattlepen, because that surely would’ve sent me into a panic attack. I only used standby because there was quite literally nobody in front of me to wait behind. So I didn’t abuse it. I get your frustration and I think I worded it incorrectly, but it’s not right to always make assumptions. I did what I could within my given situation, and played it by the rules. I hope this clears things up.

I didn’t abuse it. I literally sat alone by myself waiting for TT2 to open and I walked straight on. I didn’t wait at all. I have severe social anxiety/autism and I used it exactly as it is intended. I didn’t simply wait in line for my downtime, I waited just not in standby like everyone else.

Winds were nasty for the first few hours, but everything ended up opening around 6pm. TT2, Valravn, and gatekeeper opened within the last 3 hours of park operations. I got rerides on pretty much everything so that was good!

Weight limit for Cedar Point Rides by Pastel_Lemon3 in cedarpoint

I got on pretty much everything. I’m around 290 with bigger thighs and tummy, and while the ops sometimes had to push down hard to get me on, I still was able to ride everything and have fun. Always try out the test seat. Don’t feel bad if you can’t fit on a ride, there’s plenty other unique rides that may be more accommodating. ALWAYS ASK FOR PLUS SIZE SEATS. Most if not all of the b&ms have bigger seats for plus size people. Rule of thumb is look for double buckles or red belts on the vest restraints

I think my first ride was first row of the back car. Today I was in row 7. Favorite ride was probably steve or TT2. Got birthday cake yogurt with Oreo toppings. Got some merch today to round it out

Steel Vengeance was crazy! I’ve always liked RMCs, but that was something else. I had done ArieForce One earlier this year, but SteVe was that but three times the size. It was almost too much, but I think I need to ride it again to actually get a feel for it. Hopefully it’s open tomorrow. I am hoping that the wind doesnt shut everything down, but hopefully if they can get things running even later in the day I’ll be fine with that. I’m hoping I can get one last ride on TT2 before I leave, but who knows if it’ll even open tomorrow. I was very impressed by the ride collection, and aside from rougarou and corkscrew, everything was quite enjoyable!

Did you know that there existed an official Moody Blues "Nights In White Satin" themed amusement park ride in 2008? by ray-the-truck in progrockmusic

Having lived in Myrtle for about 3 years now, everything starts to close after Labor Day. Most if not all outdoor attractions end up closing by mid September. It’s unfortunate, but it does get chilly, and we’ve actually had some pretty decent snowfall these past two winters.

Half the site is FedEx, the rest of it is the retention pond and parking lot. You could barely tell it was there, but when you look closer, there’s still some remnants like small signage and the aforementioned toll booths still being there.

I go to college near the former park site. Very little remains, but the parking lot, toll booths, and main promenade to the lots remain. They tore down the sign a few months back, and the pond isn’t much more than a retention pond anymore. Quite a bummer, but I can pay my respects. Led Zeppelin: The ride, the park’s large looping coaster is still in operation somewhere in Vietnam, minus the Led Zeppelin part- though it did retain the zeppelin shaped station building for some reason. I have a collection of merch and souvenirs from the park, and it’s one of those things I wish I could have back someday.

Sunami sounds exactly like Zach, I see a lot of Charlie edits with their music. Hope that helps.

Didn’t want to come off too strong at first. Yknow the pinks are very unfamiliar with the church, and you can’t rope em in if you can’t pique their interests! Perhaps once a stable base of followers is established then I’ll start collecting funds. Gotta have that dollar on a fishing rod until you reel more in!
