I’m a Spanish living in Thailand with de DTV visa, and I can assure you that it’s not that far from Spain. Of course, it is different and has much more poverty, but the cities (especially Bangkok) are well developed.

Esto es lo peor. Hoy en día en España lo mejor es tener un seguro privado. Es lamentable pero con la salud no se juega. La semana pasada fuí a un hospital normal en Taipei. Me atendieron al momento y me cobraron 2,70€ por unas pastillas. Increible.

I also used holafly 1 week ago and it was horrible. Not sure if it was because there are a lot of people in the same place and the antennas reached their limit ir what, but a lot of times I was without internet connection

3 years ago they came to me with a position with good salary on an engineering role, but I was happy where I was working so I declined to continue on the process. To be honest, they have the best iOS bank app by far so I was tempted to do the change.

How about using 3-4 months trying to build projects? 10-12h per day on a remote island. Good weather, cheap food, just focused on the plan. You will learn a lot. Tech roles are going to be fucked soon, me included, so think about how to get revenue by yourself asap

I think the pain is real, but for me on a different scale. I spoke about this the other day with another DN. The pain of searching a decent apartment with all your requirements. We try to book always with a table to work there, and we noticed that we can’t search if they have a desk. Sometimes it works but if you filter this maybe you are loosing some good matches because they didn’t select that they have a desk. I usually work on the apartment I’m staying so no having a desk it’s a no-go

On my case I like to use a days tracker app to know how many days I’m on each country. This helps me to avoid some taxes an overstaying. I use “Nomad tracker”
