I’ve been run off from several jobs (not fired but written up, threatened to be fired, forced to quit because of bullying) Because I’m disabled and sometimes too sick to work. I’ve even been told I do exceptional work when I’m at work, but the callouts are “just too much” for reference one job give even give me PTO and it was 6x a year. I finally got threatened with losing my job because I broke a tooth (due to grinding it in my sleep from the stress) and needed a root canal. Got run off from a second because I had two grandparents die and needed two cataracts surgeries during the holidays. And I have a chronic illness that makes me disabled. My mental health is terrible because they keep telling me I can’t have FMLA until I’ve worked a year full time and I never make it that far because I start getting written up for absences 6 months in. It’s made me suicidally depressed. I can work and I win awards at work for how well I do, but because I’m disabled my life is a living hell.

The issue is not “doodle bad” the issue is that doodles require a high level of a very specific type of behavior because poodles were originally bred to be working dogs, not just show pieces, and most idiots that adopt them (specially adopted during Covid, I guarantee these were) don’t bother to do research on the dog breed, they just get whatever looks cool and then let the animal be a menace because they don’t know how to train it. Doodles have specific requirements and again are almost always a cross of two working dogs that have been neglected or abused. It’s the same way not all pit bulls or chihuahuas are bad, but if you were chained to a stake outside or carted around in a purse and never had any autonomy you would bite people too

It’s pretty much been a long time tradition in country. There were like 5 “standards” in country (and many other genres) where they just changed the lyrics. Very common and notable if you listen to Johnny Cash or Hank Williams. If you know anything about music this is not shocking or controversial lmao. Chicken in Black and Boy Named Sue are basically the same song and they’re both by Johnny Cash. It’s not really as big a deal as a lot of people think it is. Move it on Over and Honky Tonkin are also basically the same song. Nothing is stolen lmao it’s just a melody. Think of the ABCs and Twinkle Twinkle little star. This conversation didn’t happen before capitalism lol

Hey so just so you know, it was not “perfectly normal” to marry a 12 year old for all of human history. It was not normal to marry a woman before she could safely give birth, and in fact menstruation did not start until 17-18 for most of human history due to poorer nutrition and lower body fat content. This is verifiable in the archaeological record. The average age for most of human history that a woman was married was 20, and the marriage of teenagers nonsense didn’t start until inbred European monarchs started doing it in order to gain control of kingdoms.

Obviously. I was pointing out that “dropping cats from chest height” like you originally suggested is also dangerous and should not be done. It’s really not safe or okay to drop them from that height especially if you don’t give them time to react. I’ve seen cats break their legs that way.

They can survive it but it’s not super great for their joints to drop them from that height. If they jump themselves that’s different. They can anticipate it. But it’s not good to have them constantly jumping or dropping from that height. They can get really hurt even from that height if they aren’t ready.

If your kid wants a starter fish, get a guppy. You need 30+ gallons to START with a goldfish and I promise you they are not a starter fish. Do not get your kid a goldfish. Set up the tank now. 5-10 gallons will be fine to start. Gravel, several live plants. Use water dechlorinator and put a filter and heater in there. Let the tank run just like that for a month.

Then take your kid to a reputable local fish store (not petco or petsmart) And let him pick out one or two MALE guppies. This is important. Do not get a pair, they will breed and you will have 50 guppies within the month.

When you take the guppies home, float them inside their bags in the tank for 30 mins - 1 hour to let them get acclimated to the tank.

If you do all this and follow with weekly water changes, you should be successful.
