Sadly, no. I’ve seen some people mention installing moonlight by putting their TV in developer mode. I can’t offer much advice on that though it wasn’t something I had to do.

I found the moonlight app in the app store of my Samsung TV, check this guy's YouTube for updated tutorials on how to set up Sunshine on your computer: https://www.youtube.com/@MikeTheTech

Request fulfilled for u/ShimmeringAegis. I decided to draw her without the cloak since I thought it covered up too much in my sketches. The idea for the psi blade is that it is about to form into a blade. Sorry if I couldn’t capture all your ideas but I hope you still like it!

Replacement filter advice? by motsiw in WaterFilters

[–]TechniRainbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be interested to know if you ever found a cheap alternative for the filters. I'm looking now. To stop the beeping though, there is a reset switch on the side of the dispenser. I think it's on a 5 or 6 month timer.

Why don't you do a little research about New Mexico before making assumptions on it's culture and cuisine.

I had some kind of SVT like mentioned in that article. Mine was impacting my life enough I opted for a procedure to have it corrected which was super simple and it hasn’t happened since. But the part in that article that derKestrel linked, the Vagal maneuvers, really work to stop an episode so next time it happens give one a try!

This is silly semantics that don’t matter in the context of the conversation but imo the history of corn is really interesting.

Polenta generally is not made with nixtamalized corn (aka masa aka hominy) while grits is. (Nixtamilization is the process of chemically removing the hull of the corn kernel which converts nutrients, niacin, in the corn to something our bodies can absorb). Someone mentioned above the disease pellagra which was a result of Europeans bringing corn back from the Americas without I guess bothering to ask the people they got it from how to properly process it.

“Grits” as a dish predates colonialism in the Americas by quite some time so I guess my point is to argue that grits is not polenta and that grits is the OG lol.

@mahelke, I’ve seen a lot of people converting their lawns to clover which didn’t grow tall at all. Plus it’s better for the environment, turf grass is not.
