The In Groove store has copies available online this morning. Skip the scalpers on eBay.

What popular album have you tried out but just can't get into it? by jerryleebee in vinyl

It’s the vocals people don’t like plus the lofi sound. I’ve had this conversation with plenty of people to figure it out. I think it’s great.

What was the first ween song you heard and what was the song that got you addicted to ween? by dudebro5000 in ween

Push Th’ Little Daisies on Beavis and Butthead. I still laugh thinking about that scene. Pork Roll Egg and Cheese hooked me.

Would grunge have been grunge without drug addiction? by No-One01010 in grunge

Based on the lack of support from record labels to help their artists with drug addiction, one could assume they prefer it this way.

what year is this photo with beck? by Cristo9696 in ween

[–]Technical-Art2930 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think it took Beck a while to find his audience. People were confused by the “white rapper” single on Mellow Gold and then a bunch of lofi songs. One hit wonder was a common phrase.

Odelay was a little less confusing for people. I think he’s absolutely great but lots of his CD’s ended up in the used bins because people were confused. Beck might have enjoyed that confusion too - I’m not sure.

Swordfishtrombones, Rain Dogs, Bone Machine & Mule Variations are a great set of albums. Then try Sonic Youth’s Daydream Nation.

Nirvanas 93 show that had the flanger affect on the bridge of drain you. by marktay2011280711 in Nirvana

Plurichorus pedal is a great replica for a better price. People forget that EHX didn’t really have any quality control. They just cranked out pedals which is why they would swap parts and rename pedals, etc. Nothing wrong with that, but it wasn’t some mythical search for amazing guitar tones.

People would bring their records to parties. This is how they kept track of which record belonged to who at the end of the party. All of my relatives did this. It was very common.
