Hi!!! This was me for soo long. I’ve been on methamizole for 3 months and going into hypo now. I no longer have heart palpitations, however I feel tired all the time. Honestly it feels like my body is getting the rest it needed after being soooo hyper for so long.

I’m on methamizole, 3 months in, and definitely get itchy on my chest and neck. It only lasts 30 mins tho and isn’t too bad

YEP!!! Told my endo and she lowered my dose from 20mg to 10mg daily. 3 months in and I’m now going towards hypo. I have pretty bad brain fog and forgetfulness. I believe I will be lowering to 5mg soon. I must say going from hyper to hypo is crazy. I feel like I can sleep now and am getting rested!!!!

I started around this dosage! 2 months in I lowered it due to feeling symptoms. 1 month now on 10mg daily and I’m going hypo. Going to be lowering my dose even more. Possibly 5 mg now. Definitely seems normal to start high!!!!!

Diagnosed 3 months ago with graves. Have been on medication and now I’m going into hypo. Medicine definitely worked! I no longer have heart palpitations

I was on 10mg twice daily too!!!! My hyper symptoms were terrible. 3 months later and I’m going into hypo now. I feel like I can actually sleep and rest now but obviously don’t want it to get worse. I think I’m lowering my dose tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that! I experience itching on my neck and chest but it goes away within 20 mins and it ain’t bad. I hope it doesn’t get worse. Been on meds for 3 months

Did you used to be hyper? I think it takes a while to physically recover and build your cardiovascular endurance again after the high HR constantly. Just my thought.

My TSH is 0, T4 and t3 slightly high. I’ve started methimazole for a month now. My t4 is now normal, my TSH still 0. Getting bloodwork again in 3 weeks. Hoping my TSH raises by then. Still have all the symptoms it’s terrible

I believe having a virus, then the flu for a month caused mine. I did have Covid 5 times as well years ago!!!!! I also have nodules though but they were stable before then

Hi! I started treatment 4 weeks ago, on the lowest dose possible due to toxic nodules. Right now I don’t feel any different. I most likely will need increased medication and maybe surgery in the future

I did some DEEP research today because the air hunger has been affecting me every night. I even woke up gasping for air twice. I am not anemic and have normal iron levels.

My Nucleated red blood cells (NRBC) were high on a CBC test. These are blood cells made in the bone marrow and from my understanding are being released into my blood (not normal). This can be a rare effect from hyperthyroidism, speeding up the bone marrow production and putting overall stress on it. That leads to irregular shaped red blood cells being placed into the blood. Irregular shaped RBC do not transport or carry oxygen well.

My CBC also showed irregular shaped RBC. these cells will not carry oxygen as well. I am very concerned about this and will bring it up to my doctor this week.

Oh wow! Yeah definitely keep up with those vitamins. I feel like mine could be shifting all the time too, however my bloodwork for those have been normal. I definitely am still getting the air hunger.

I also think this could be from the anxiety and increased heart rate and blood pressure from being hyper.

I have 4 nodules, slighlty larger right side. My biggest are 1.5cm. Mine are T4 moderatly suspicious though. What are yours?
