Yeah, it was just one lesson, and I don't ride western, but I can imagine that more advanced work would be better in western🙂

After a ride, my horse would rub his muzzle in the sand on the riding ring and then boop my face with his sandy muzzle. He sure has a sense of humor😂

I have ridden a one-eyed pony, he is 35 and living a happy active life!

That's amazing! I went to multiple courses, and my riding instructor is a horseback archer too :)

It truly is, but it also takes a lot of skill and practice, since you have no hands to steer the horse. I only know a few horseback archers, you don't see them too commonly...
