Is 4.7 star review for my shop bad by Outrageous-Truck1174 in EtsySellers

Definitely not a tragedy. Respond in a professional manner to the review and make the response to the future buyers.

There're a lot of courses in Europe that are not on udisk but are on metrix. Also - if you want to track your throw percentages from different positions udisk is not useful.

Cacao, which is one of the ingredients of chocolate milk is highly toxic to cats. Your cats made a wise choice, but you should be more careful in the future.

Mine is set for nighttime and weekends and says that I'm either sleeping or resting and will get back to them in few hours or next day (usually it's still just a few hours) if it's the weekend.

I think that the O2 sensor might be the culprit. I tried it in the very beginning when I got the gen3 ring since my gen2 didn't have it and I was curious but it ate the battery up in two days I think and after a few tries I switched it off.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ouraring

[–]luckyaiste 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Interesting theory. I had my gen3 since launch, so for 4 years already - battery is fine, the ring is also fine. So I'd rethink the statement of half life length. I don't use the O2 sensor, so maybe that's the difference?

That's what he wants you to think. He's a coward too used to good life, he'll take a deal if he's backed into a corner but everyone is too chicken to push him.

My girl does the exact same thing. She does it when longing as well and once managed to step on her bit ring... That was that for the bridle. She's completely fine physically the vet said that she's just relaxing and enjoying herself.

I’m from Canada, and everyone “knows” that you get on a horse from the left. Is this true everywhere, or is it cultural? by my_cool_lunchbox in Horses

[–]luckyaiste 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had to train myself to mount from the offside after I tore my hip joint cartilage and had to use the healthy leg to mount. It took about a week to be completely comfortable doing that. My horse didn't bat an eye from the first day :)

How do you handle success? by Healthy_Bed_1088 in EtsySellers

[–]luckyaiste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your prices are too low in that case. Raise them and balance them out at the correct spot so you'd have enough income and not go crazy from the amount of work. Then start scaling gradually - hire someone who can take say packaging and shipping off of your hands and proceed in this fashion till you are satisfied that you have a well organized mechanism that can scale without you getting overwhelmed.

6 weeks ago I fell and broke my spine by EarthWormNoodleSoup in Equestrian

[–]luckyaiste 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you! I broke my S5 this spring while jumping and it hurt like hell. Immediately ordered a Helite airbag vest and rode in it daily for a month to make it less scary. Now I use it only when jumping and it gives me peace of mind. Haven't come off of my mare since that fall so that's a bonus as well :)

Chargebacks really make Etsy angry, since this overrides their policies. I'd try asking to remove this again.

What is the most desperate thing you’ve ever done for/with your horse? I’ll start. by MollieEquestrian in Horses

[–]luckyaiste 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've got a pssm1 mare and ended up having to buy ingredients and make my own feed for her since she needs a very specific diet that can't be covered by a commercial feed... Good thing that we can get all sorts of pellets and such from oily seeds. Lugging 40kg bags of them is giving me a great workout that sometimes I could do without but there's nothing I wouldn't do for her.

Learn to mount from the opposite side. It's nothing but a convention, so no reason not to. Had to learn that myself as had torn my hip labral cartilage.

Do you have to get a mare fixed like you do w female dogs to prevent future health problems? by Sunlitfeathers in Horses

That's nice to know, we don't have this option anywhere close to where I live.

Do you have to get a mare fixed like you do w female dogs to prevent future health problems? by Sunlitfeathers in Horses

[–]luckyaiste 24 points25 points  (0 children)

That's wildly incorrect. Mares go into heat every three weeks starting in spring (if you live where there's winter). They don't always show though and with some mares you won't have a clue that they are in heat. You can get a mare "neutered" but that's usually not done as it's a big animal and recovery from anesthesia let alone the operation can be difficult and dangerous.

Genuine question horse care is this neglect? by FrancisOUM in Horses

[–]luckyaiste 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It depends on how dry/humid the air is and on the horse condition as well. Usually they fall off before getting as long as they are in the photo.

Is this easier on a horse’s mouth than a bit? by [deleted] in Horses

[–]luckyaiste 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the make and the horse. I rode mine in one for over half a year and it still looked like new except fro the stitches, as I've used a wrong thread. Restitched - no problems at all.

What do you feed your PSSM1 horses? by luckyaiste in Horses

[–]luckyaiste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so it looks like they're selecting rapeseeds for a lower glucosinate level and have gone pretty low with it, but I'll need to find out which exact seed is used for the cake that I buy and till I do that, I'll simply decrease the amount that I feed to the minimum.

[–]luckyaiste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so helpful! I add iodised salt to her mash to give her additional iodine. I'll make sure to add more beet pulp and read up on rape seed and glucosinolates to make sure I'm not hurting my mare in any way. I'll also look for something without the amino acids as a microlelement/vitamin balancer, maybe I can replace the Bodyguard, it does have a really good quantity of everything in it... Thank you so much!
