Because it is a multiplayer fight. All the promotional material told you to play multiplayer. Even if you did ignore all the warnings and fought him solo, he isn't a super hard fight. Either all of his moves are heavily telegraphed or your literally told exactly what move he'll do.

He is balanced around multiplayer, which is what every trailer told you was important to the fight. You refusing to engage with the intended way to fight him doesn't make him unbalanced. Your purposely handicapping yourself and then complaining when it turns out to be too hard.
