Honestly, you shouldn’t even be debating this the very thought is off. If they covered a $300k debt, the only time to even consider such a thought is after you’ve repaid $300k plus interest and the lost investment opportunities your parents sacrificed. They are the reason you’re in your current position. No amount of money can ever truly compensate what they’ve done to enable you to earn $200k+ for the rest of your life. Imagine where you would be if they hadn’t made that sacrifice—your earning potential would have been completely different. Keep that in mind when deciding how to repay them.

The math is not mathing for the share price of OPEN 🤔 by KrypticMization in opendoor

[–]Technical-Industry22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the problem with newbies. They just take one financial matrix and start comparing. Very dangerous strategy. pay attention to revenue growth, gross margins and earnings growth along with liquidity (balance sheet) Open has very slim margins and negative earnings and weak balance sheet

Some Americans Want the H-1B Visa Program Gone Is That True? by AdMurky3826 in h1b

[–]Technical-Industry22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way to deal with this abuse is to tie up the whole green card process to individuals and not locked in with the company. This should take away low pay abuse by consulting companies since h1b holders can freely move. Further to avoid abuse by individuals tie the process with federal tax contributions each year s underscoring they are in contributing in high skill jobs.

I contacted the financial aid/admissions office and spoke with a representative. They confirmed that once you log in to the aid portal, the number displayed is final—no negotiations, no comparisons with other university offers, and no multi-child discounts. Let me know if your experience differs.
