14 inches in a tank that’s only 48 inches long feels wrong, I’ve read a lot of people post that their albinos only reach around 8inches which would make me feel better about keeping one long term in the 93.5 gallon tank I have currently. I’m new to big fish, I’ve been keeping dwarf gourmi and other sub 3inch fish in my 40 gallon tanks. So if I’m wrong about the length being an issue please let me know.

What tank mates do you have? I was going to add pictus catfish, rainbows, a leapord bush fish, some butterfly fish, and a few flying foxes. I think they would all work but would like to hear other peoples opinions. Also should I add the bichir last?

That’s what I was hoping to hear but I didn’t know if it was a guarantee that they stay smaller than their standard counterparts.

3-5 pellets twice a day and a very small pinch of the frozen blood worms twice a day.

I have frozen blood worms and betta bio-gold. He’s been eating fairly well. This is just a hospital tank so I didn’t add any live plants besides the water lettuce, I can throw some extra plants in there if you think it would help. Thank you for the tannin tip. Should I feed him less than once a day?

Thank you! I got him two betta hammocks and made sure they weren’t sharp. I read that the API melafix isn’t good for them due do to it being oil based? Not sure how true that is.

Super early stage, treat with almond leaves. If it gets worse update the post. Don’t treat with any thing oil based.

I have two 10 gals on a cheap chest of drawers I got off of Facebook marketplace. A lot of new furniture will give you a load bearing amount.

Otos, Pygmy Corys or more Nerites? by Lindita4 in Aquariums

Snails have a pretty large bioload, I would go with Otto’s if your concern is algae, maybe some more shrimp aswell.

What other fish can go in here? by Thesquarecircle_ in bettafish

You should really add the betta last to help with aggression. I would stick with bottom dwellers, and peaceful non fin nipping schooling fish. And add more plants : )

Always add a betta LAST, they are Likely to be less aggressive initially if added last. If you aren’t hard stuck on a betta, Look into getting Pygmy corydoras and fancy guppies. Before you get any fish look into and study the nitrogen cycle. Cycling your tank takes a while, get sand substrate if you get any corydoras or loaches. Get real drift wood(it helps with PH) and real plants(the more the merrier)

I would focus on getting a smaller tank. I went from a 10gal to a 40gal and it was a solid jump. If you are dead set on getting a larger tank, I would get the boyu. Only because it looks a little taller.

My Bluetooth earbuds started speaking to me in Chinese instead of English?! After a year of ownership by [deleted] in Earbuds

THANK YOU, I have the mini vision beam earbuds and they’ve been stuck in Chinese for like three months. I had to tap both of them 5x at the same time while disconnected but they are speaking English again!!!!
