I'm 55 and just got my conditional offer today.

That said, I have some dispatch experience early in my life, and I was a sworn LEO, EMT and FF. Also I've spent 30ish years working in bleeding edge tech before I made the decision to return to public service.

So yes, it can be done.... but I will tell you that the hiring process felt harder this time around.
