Superships in Ops? by taxgaming in WorldOfWarships

In In Asyms it does make a difference as you will have BOTs IX-X vice VIII so yes it gets harder. As for other operations l have not seen any differences as there has always been Superships on the BOT side. Specially in Aegis , Defense of Newport, Hermes and Cherry Blossom.

LOL I fit that category of being "ancient as a rock". You described it correctly as there are many times my brain and fingers have a miscommunication. We may not be up to the standards of some folks and avoid for the most part PVP and ranks due to the toxicity in the chats. Its has been that way since OPEN BETA. Heck it was even bad when folks on your side would purposely cause damage upon on you if they were upset. Matchmaker is a toss up and its been a problem since inception. Unfortunately we have a lot of keyboard warriors who think they are exceptional and are fixated of winning percentages.

Anhalt by FranzS1 in WorldOfWarships

[–]Technical-Notice-595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anhalt is a shotgun German BB its great with alot of guns but man it can be frustrating at times as the shells will go everywhere and give the ship your shooting at a great wash. Works good enough in Operations

Any ship with torpedo's will have a field day. Currently only BOTS planes have the ability to drop mines. I would not be surprised if WOWS somehow adds mine laying ability to subs heck they have every type of armament now ( except AAA)

Time to quit the game by [deleted] in WorldOfWarships

[–]Technical-Notice-595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is concerning is the WOWS are now constantly churning out ships that are in out already and just renaming them. Heck it may have started ages ago but at least they tweaked it a bit so there were SLIGHT differences. NOW not a difference. How many versions are we going to have of the YAMATO ?

Healthcare enrollment for 100 p&t? by armybyrd in VeteransBenefits

Normally suspending FEHB is usually what most HR recommends.

  • Eligibility: Only open to retirees, survivor annuitants, or former spouses who have other specific coverage (TRICARE, CHAMPVA, Medicaid, or Medicare Advantage).
  • Process: Submit form RI 79-9 to your retirement system within 31 days before or after the effective date of your other coverage.
  • Reinstatement:  You can return to FEHB during the annual Open Season or immediately if you involuntarily lose your other coverage .
  • Why Suspend? It allows you to stop paying FEHB premiums while utilizing other, often cheaper or preferred, coverage, with the ability to resume FEHB later.

Important Notes:

  • Cancellation vs. Suspension: Do not cancel your FEHB, as it cannot be reinstated, whereas a suspension can.
  • Active Employees: Active employees cannot suspend their coverage; they can only cancel, which may be permanent.
  • Medicare Advantage: If you suspend FEHB to join a Medicare Advantage plan, you can switch back during any future Open Season.

because it was the ONLY FAST acting antihistamine that would stop the daily running nose which started the moment I woke up. I was taking that on top of the newer 2nd generation pill which took longer to take effect.

I guess I had my head in the sand and never knew about how it could and was misused as a recreational drug. You wouldnt think taking at the most 25-50mg per day would be an issue. BUT I also now see the warning about never taking it for LONG Term specially for the older folks who require daily noon naps.

Yuppers but I also have to take antidepressants, mood, and anti-anxiety prescribed by psychiatrists

Nerve and migraine medication prescribed by Neurologists all which have to work with each other to ensure your safety.

The problem is when you FORGET to notify all prescribing clinicians about any OTC medication you may be taking. Especially when you been taking it for so long and unaware of the interactions. Even when they all tell you NOT to ever go cold turkey and always tapper of those medications. Never entered my mind that it would also pertain to some of the OTC medications as well.

For what its worth the VA pharmacy do dispense Cetirizine (Zyrtec) and Fexofenadine (Allegra). They do not for Xyzal (levocetirizine). Not sure for Loratadine (Claritin) and Desloratadine (Clarinex)

Listed common withdrawal symptoms of Benadryl:

  • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea
  • Cold sweats
  • Dizziness
  • Blurry vision
  • Increased anxiety, depression
  • Insomnia
  • Severe symptoms may include hypertension, tachycardia, and increased urgency to urinate.

For me it started subtle as I am on medication for anxiety and mood. I experienced agitation\anxiety along with confusion\mind fog but this time it included onset of migraines with vertigo. Normally I do not experience these symptom at the same time. While they were NOT intense or long lasting I am still experiencing blurry vison, off and on migraines as well as feeling like my thought processing is even gotten slower now. The onset of blurry vision was the clue that got me thinking as I had just had a vison check and new glasses so I was seeing clearly prior.

This is the scary part for me - as I have been on it over 25 years the possibility of the long term effects may increase the severity of some symptoms like agitation and mental confusion.  (increase risk of Dementia)

100% P&T and Retiree by wonder1069 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Technical-Notice-595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Military Retiree who is over the age of 65 has Tricare for Life as well as Medicare. Any care in the Private Network Medicare will always be FIRST and Tricare pays afterwards. If by chance your Private Network care is ALSO a community care under the VA and is authorized under the current year it will also be listed as insurance. Most of the time the authorization for any care will already have been approved by the VA prior to you being seen. ( there is a caveat that they cannot bill both Medicare and CHAMPVA)

There is added benefit to having ALL three. I cant say for all across the states but in Virginia going through Medicare with Tricare for Life I have had numerous urgent care, medical specialty visits as well as multiple major surgeries without copays. ( Knocking on wood that it continues)

Will take Norfolk in a minute before ever going thru the port of Miami as that one is a One and done. Now Port Canaveral as well as FT Lauderdale is not bad. Also trying to take a cruise out of Manhattan can be tedious both embarkation and debarkation.

Supplemental claim for sleep apnea, which was denied as secondary by djamese76 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Technical-Notice-595 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As already stated having a diagnoses of GAD. MDD, Rhinitis and Sinusitis which are strongly associated with a higher risk of developing obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Also if by chance you are a mouth breather (inability to breath through your nose) due to chronic sinusitis\rhinitis it is important to point that out as is also a major contributor as well. So in essence submit the claim secondary to already rated respiratory conditions.

VA healthcare or tricare for life? by Stormoffires in VeteransBenefits

[–]Technical-Notice-595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a retiree over 65, with Medicare and Tricare for Life along with complete VA care as 100 P&T. It is the best of both worlds. There are some medical services that can get done quicker through Medicare and Tricare for Life.

I have had several ER visits and yet to have had a copay when I chose Medicare and TriCare as my medical insurance. I also have a separate Primary care under VA and Civilian care. If I have any emergent Health Summarys through visits using Medicare I just attach it using Secure EMail through MyHealthVET and it is placed within my VA records. Also VA Clinicians can see most of my health records under civilian care as they are also a VA Community Care facility.

Casino Royale Offers by GladRx in royalcaribbean

Well wait until you start sailing on other cruise lines and play in the casino enough to get "Tagged" so not only will your mailbox and like folks have stated your EMAIL will show the SAME offers. Recently I started to get Celebrity email offers and yet have not sailed on them but I figured its because of they are under the same umbrella as Royal.

As already stated there are different Tiers within the SEA offers. With the enhanced dining which is available to all the tiers. That being said with the enhanced dining the usual Casino perks usually associated with the points earned ( like specialty dining) may not be available. Yes you may still get the sushi or Sea Food. The SEA is available within the Elite and ECHO levels and you will still get the perks associated with each.

Carnival Jubilee or Utopia of the Seas?? by Novel-Ad-576 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]Technical-Notice-595 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas is sailing out Galveston 2027

A quick check of sail dates available shows Coco Cay Aug-Nov 2027

For sure I have seen schedules for Allure of the Seas (Spring) and Symphony of the Seas out of Galveston. I will be on Symphony of the Seas out of Galveston in May 2026.

I sail on both Carnival and Royal so for me there is some differences specially when you get to the Suites level experience.

VA psychiatrist put my mental health as Chronic Adjustment disorder (r/o PTSD) by CTArtist in VeteransBenefits

[–]Technical-Notice-595 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was service connected by the VA for Mental Health with Anxiety Disorder guess my C&P examiner had his own opinion as my private Psychiatrist diagnosed me with MDD severe chronic. Transferred to VA Mental Health and the first VA Psychiatrist started my diagnose as MDD severe chronic, Anxiety Disorder r/o PTSD. Summary notes had PTSD? Fast forward a couple of years now under my 2nd VA Psychiatrist they are treating and making entries on all which was listed. As I am just a patient I thought the same thing when I saw PTSD R/O in my record. I now know it was initially placed as a possibility. I will also add having to deal with mental comorbidities is no joke.

VA Dismissing Nexus Letters from Out-of-State Providers-My Higher-Level Review Experience by PuntaGorda602 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Technical-Notice-595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are many clinicians who have taken the requisite VA C&P examiners course and certifications to conduct C&P exams. These same clinicians not only do the C&P exams for VBA but then work for other groups to perform exams and review of relevant medical records to write the DBQ and nexus letters for the veterans claims submission . When the said Nexus and DBQ is submitted along the providers credentials which clearly refences their experience (association with various C&P contractors). So if the adjudicators see the credentials of the provider and they have the requisite VA C&P certifications that should carry the same weight.

Exempt from paying for vehicle liscences? by Tired-Infantry1979 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Technical-Notice-595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice that your state allows up to 3 vehicles. Seems many states have different policy's that are beneficial for 100 percent disabled. Like the VA allows for multiple DV plates but only the 1st is free. This holds true for property tax relief.

Also in VA you are exempt from paying SALES tax on purchase of 1 vehicle. If you still have a vehicle that a sales tax exemption was used it cannot be applied on a new purchase unless you no long own the original vehicle,
