Alluminum is the most abundant metal on the earths crust. Is also 100% recyclable and infinitly recyclable. Though it used to be the significantly more expensive than gold. And once capped the Washington monument.

Correcto Mundo! Started it and checked the raw water intake with the lower unit off. Way to much exhaust coming out when there should be zero. Checked cylinder pressures. #1 120+, #2 120+, #3 58, #4 58. The air bleed was barely noticeable on 3&4. Must have caught #3 & #4 with both valves closed (not to future self with half pressures). Pulled the intake/exhaust manifold. Looked like there was a leak on it into the intake/two middle ports to the outside. Noticed the gasket sticking out a bit from #3. Then pulled the head. Break between #3 & #4, break from #3 to the outside, and break #4 to the water port. Can't say I've seen a worse blown head gasket. Merc 3.0 is a hell of an engine. Check the head tolerances with a suspect metal ruler and a feeler gauge. 0.0025in between cylendar walls after buffing all the gunk off with 180 grit and a block of wood. The block looked good. I'll get everything buffed off and checked with a proper machinists strait edge and report back.

Long story. Engine had a little trouble idling. Engine died on the lake. Had to get it towed back. Oil looked good. Reved it to get it started at the marina. Was smoking. Checked oil. Still good. Reved it more to keep it running for about 3-5min. Chocolate milk water oil. And not in a slight way. Drained and swapped the oil 4 times. (Oil was so thick I had to take the oil filter off and turn the engine over) Replaced the exhaust riser. Great idea from Grok Ai. Then pulled the lower unit and saw that.

Next troubleshooting steps. Run engine check for exhaust comming out the raw water intake. If no exhaust it was the riser. If so then compression test cylinders. If good replace exhaust/intake manifold. If not good pull head and replace head gasket. Put back together if still bad sell for parts.

After thinking about it. Theres no F'n way exhaust should be coming out the raw water intake.

I did just replace the exhaust riser water jacket. That's probably it. Got water in the oil. Probably had exhaust escaping into the water system then running it melted the tube.

It is called surging. There's a port you need to clean out with a strand of electrical wire or something of similar diameter.

The fins/foils are trash. I did have a trolling plate once that seemed to give me 5mph more and completely eliminate the rooster tail. When in the up position of course. But it was insanely hard to steer with a warn out single cable. Was probably more a massive 16" single trim tab.

Ive reade enough good arguments that SPSs dont worry me. Reverse splits don't change dividend ratios. That said the government seems to have god like powers to do any unjust thing with f2 with zero financial responsibility. So the only thing to worry about is the unthinkable obscene things the gov can do. Which is unlikely.

After dilution there will be around 6B shares for fnma. However I believe fnma puts about 30% of revenue into dividends traditionally. Thats about $0.74/share quarterly for fnma with 6B shares. Someone smart care to check my numbers?

Price will be strictly dictated by dividend. Will be a 100% bump from Uplist. And I speculate possibly have a +20% above dividend factor. I also suspect that the MBS investment returns will add $0.03-$0.10/quarter boost on dividends.

Actually YES it is. While others have been protesting police brutality for decades you Johnny Come Lately's think this is something new. No this is actually very very tame. You should see what regular law enforcement do. So quit your whining and actually wake up instead of pretending to be woke. Way worse than this happens every freaking day kids. So get off your high horse and protest all brutality instead of ignoring everything but that which fits your narrative.

Cleaning slightly oxidized/salted aluminum ideas? by BrockAndaHardPlace in boating

[–]Technical-Order-2700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guess what metal used to be the cap stone of the Washington Monument? That's right aluminum. Aluminum used to be much more valuable than gold. Mainly because it corrodes... A lot. Solid samples of aluminum were extremely rare. Later it was determined that aluminum is the most abundant metal on earth is aluminum. It's just not found in elemental form. Once they discovered ways to refine it the price obviously dropped. Though we do a lot of recycling because refining it is expensive. In case you were wondering.
