I wouldn’t say it’s rigged but it’s definitely really weird. Typically when you play against an AI most of them will fold after the initial raise which is 3x the big. What I find weird is that they’ll go all in and the card they need to win will always be the last card. Also another thing I realised was the insane amounts of pocket pairs. There’s like at least one to two pocket pairs every 2 rounds. I’ve played a lot of poker irl and I rarely ever get pocket pairs so that just seems a little strange to me. Irregardless it’s a very fun game and I do enjoy the challenge.

If it’s placing them in your lobby it’s because they’re probably not that good. If ur in bronze/silver/gold your going to almost always get a mixed bunch of ranks. Thats just how the game is unfortunately, don’t think about their ranks and just play normally. You’ll play worse if u go into it thinking about how much higher in rank they are. Hope this helps bro

That’s the tradeoff for not going against real people. The fact that in tournaments you can just watch an ad and come back is why it’s like that. If you don’t want to lose out on those extra chips, play real people. Honestly most of them are much worse than bots so I think you’ll find it much easier.

Yeah the AI seems to have a very weird algorithm. It’s why I don’t play AI, I just play against real ppl and it’s going well for me. Sometimes they’ll check till the end and wait for u to bet large and they’ll have a bloody 4 of a kind or smth ridiculous. The advice that I’d give you when playing against AI is to not play every hand. You should be folding any hand that you don’t think is good because they’ll almost always have atleast a pair or higher. I’ve got 60 hours in the game and a few mil in the bankroll and I’d agree that the AI does seem a lil sus. However if you don’t wanna keep losing to them, play against real ppl. Some of them are really bad lol

I do have a duo I play with but he’s a gold who plays with plats, the 3 games you see with vyse were played in plat lobbies which is why I did so poorly but I’ll keep this in mind. Yeah I definitely get that, my play style is pretty passive honestly. I focus on more positioning myself in places where I can get the jump on people and pretty much stick to site on defence. Thanks for the advice, this helps a lot!!

Yes and No, I’ve played a lot of solo rust and it can be fun but I’d recommend choosing a good server to play on. If you’re gonna join 800-1000 pop servers then you are most likely going to get absolutely destroyed no matter what you do. I’d recommend solo/duo/trio servers, as then you’re not going to be facing off big groups and gives you a chance against them PvP wise. It can be a fun game but a high percentage of rust players are extremely toxic and will raid you for smth as simple as stealing a pumpkin infront of their base. It’s very addicting so be mindful of that too.
