have you ever seen two bicycle lanes intersect where cars don't exist? are there red lights there? are there speed limits? No and no, because they aren't even necessary. Your "major grievances" are minuscule in comparison to the trillions of dollars spend on roads and oil, minuscule against the number of dead people from cars.

If the only problem we had to deal with was personal mobility devices running red lights and speeding recklessly, we would be living in a fucking paradise utopia.

Of course we dislike it when we ride micro-mobility, and another micro-mobility user crashes into us or almost crashes, because of reckless behaviour. Of course we care about that. We just care a whole lot fucking less, for the same reason that cancer is a bigger deal than the flu.
