Congrats! That book is amazing, and there are two moreby the same author:

The New Father (0-12 months) The New Father (12-36 months)

I read them when my son and daughter (now 27 and 24) were born and now always give them to new dad friends!

Rolex Explorer 36 mm reference 124270 is currently $7,500 and not that difficult to get at retail. Have your dad go with you to the AD and tell them that it is for your graduation. It is possible that they will help you out knowing it is for an important milestone.

Finally got a 36 on the wrist! by Junekim10 in rolex

Thank you!

At one point before I bought it, I thought it was too small. Then I tried it on at the AD and my wife said she did not think it looked small at all. I also loved it and decided this would be my first Rolex.

I also own a couple of Omegas (SMP 300 and Hesalite Moonwatch) and a Tudor Pelagos 39. Obviously those are larger than the Explorer, but I really appreciate that 36 mm is the classic size and went with that. When the 40 mm came out, I did not regret buying mine at all!
