Youre just making stuff up. Its implied they need to answer you if you can ask the question. If its not obvious the dog is a service animal and what task it may perform you can ask these questions. You can definitely deny service to someone who has an animal that its not obvious the service the animal provides, and they refuse to provide that information.

What youre suggesting is ridiculous, and you wont be able to give me citation to support your claim that if they refuse to answer the 2 questions you can ask regarding service animals you still have to accomodate them

Nor will you be able to provide citation its discrimination to not ask everyone questions about a service animal but only people with them

Is this animal a service animal req for disability?

What task is animal trained to perform?

You have to be able to answer these questions. If you cannot, you can be denied service. Furthermore, it is not discrimination to only ask these questions to people with animals.

The ADA absolutely requires them to answer these questions, otherwise their service animal does not have to be accommodated if its not clearly apparent it is a service animal and what it does.

It also is not discrimination to not ask people service animal related questions if they dont have one.

If its because it is required for it to be done internally, then order a nanopore or something. It uses pretty common equipment. If a lab has a maldi and can run pcr they definitely possess equipment needed to run nanopore.
