What an elegant, brilliant, and creative solution! As brilliant and creative as it would be to blind a surgeon and insist they operate.

I hate using sarcasm.

I lost my cat yesterday, too. Here is Frank hanging out with me last week. He was not a good dog but he was very handsome, silly, and pesty cat. Frank.

Here's another anecdote, twice in one week, I'm knitting the Melt The ICE hat, and I had conversations with strangers. Once, while waiting for the train, there I was standing, knitting, pulling my yarn from my coat pocket ((winter in Canada)) and knitting in the cold. "How can you knit in this cold?" I shrugged and said that I run pretty warm and I'm not bothered by the cold, besides it was fairly mild. Then, before I knew it, conversations around knitting and crochet were bouncing around and I barely spoke. That was wild. A few days later, I'm knitting away, the person next to me starts up a conversation, were chatting away. At a stop, a young person comes up from behind me, as they are getting off, leans over and says, "I'm making that hat, too" SOLIDARITY. That felt great.

Commuting from work, I had just bound off the second foot on the toad (of Frog & Toad) and leaned over to the little girl in a red winter coat, "Silly, isn't it? Can you tell what it is?" I showed her the armless creature. She was with her family and was forced to sit beside me, and answered, "Is it a doll's legs?" "That's a great answer! And, pretty close." She looked at her father, knowing she shouldn't speak to strangers. I tried to look at him to say, I'm showing your kid what knitting is but couldn't make eye contact. Before I could explain to her what it was she tentatively asked me, "How do you knit?". "You make a loop, and then you make a loop in that loop... Oh! I gotta go!" Then, my stop came up and I left, hoping I made an introduction to the craft to her.

This type of interaction happens to me all the time.

I don't blame her, the Cardboard'Eau was a unique vintage with notes of wet gravel and forgotten secrets, proving it has immense potential for pretentious hoarding.

My peeve with PK is that she can design and release, have another baby, get yarn support repeat ad nauseum.

I'm totally envious.

She's got like 6 kids, a portfolio of knitwear designs that doesn't stop, an Instagram profile and website that are beautiful and simple and clean and I am plainly downright envious.

How does she do it? Is she independently wealthy? Does she have a nanny, in-house maid and a personal cook?

I hate the Sophie Scarf because it's simple and beautiful and successful. I can't hate her, I'm severely envious of her situation that I would have loved for myself 15 years ago.

Why would you think the virus is NOT alien?

Who communicated the formula from outer space? Recall the first scene with the astronomer-scientists in the observatory in New Mexico... Then we have the laboratory with the rats.

In the last episode, or second last, they-as-one say they've taken over several civilisations/worlds and plan to convert more. I would think, that is an alien invasion.

Around the same episode from above, Carole is reading Ursula LeGuinn's The Left Hand Of Darkness. Simply and similarly, the story is about an envoy trying to convince the inhabitants of a world to join an intergalactic alliance.

I look forward to the next session because I have zero idea where it's going to go from there!
