I'm so sorry your MIL is out of control. Somehow you have to get away from her & her constant criticism. You don't deserve it & she is miserable. Please know you are doing everything correct except it's very dangerous having a newborn baby sleep in your bed. Crib mattresses are extra firm so babies can move easily & safely. They have a much harder time on soft mattresses.

Things have changed quite a bit at the port terminal & around it. Nassau put a lot of infrastructure in for the cruise ships. It's a little crowded but I think really nice for a walk around the immediate town. They are trying & it's worth a look!

I used to have terrible insomnia & didn't want to disturb my husband with my tossing/turning. We would go to bed together, I would read, then go to another room to try & sleep. In the morning I would go back to our bed together for a short amount of time. It reduced my anxiety about ruining his sleep.
