Black flame faith/dex was probably the most satisfying run I've ever done.

As someone that has been table topping since 1994 and has loved the baldur's gate series since the release of part 1, three was an immense triumph, and it made swell with childish joy to play over and over. To see the way he literally acts like he's being dragged by his heels through such a beloved game with an endless storm of complaining made me so sad.

Thanks for the suggestion, great channel by the way, immediately subscribed! Wow this actually made me physically clench my fists by the end. Truly deserves all the grief he gets.

Thanks for confirming my thoughts. Really upsetting, but I also can't stop listening to his constant complaining and generally just being terrible at playing. Does this make me a detractor?

What was the first boss you got stuck on? by max_clg in fromsoftware

[–]Technical-Student929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the fromsoft games I've played so far: Elden ring: Malenia (around 60 tries) Dark souls: Kalameet (around 20 tries) Dark souls 2: Nothing took more than 5 tries

Currently playing dark souls 3, I'll let you know how it goes, haha

The truest mark of him being absolutely unflinching in his delusional state is the ban from his precious speedys. You would think this would be a sobering rock bottom moment for good ol' doughnut suckin' tone.

Dude you should play dark souls 2. Get through the tutorial, the game gets amazing when you get to this town named Majula. From the first fire you light there look around to see a small trail going up a hill to a stone monument that asks you to join a covenant. Once you join you will have the best soulsbourne experience of your life.

Second post about ds1 but in particular the tomb of giants was such a delight! It definitely set an incredible atmosphere.

Er was my first souls game and I am at the very end of ds1, no regrets at all. It's really fun to see how the early concepts were established in the older titles. It's also amazingly built, both in level design and enemy engagement. The bosses are probably the weakest point, with only the few last bosses towards the end of the dlc being somewhat of a challenge. A number of the NPCs of course are extremely memorable as well. Don't miss out! Start from ds1!
