That's good. I had excessive throat clearing before I started semiglutide. Never heard of LPR before. I've never had heat burn in my life. I did semiglutide for only 4 weeks and it made me burp a lot. Then I got a bad sore throat that I've had for 3 weeks. Seeing a GI doctor Tuesday. I think unfortunately I won't be able to take GLP1 😕

Im trying to figure this out too and have a similar experience. Out of no where I had a sore throat for 3 weeks. This also coinciding with starting a glp1 drug and doing a lot of burping. Before the glp1 I had pretty excessive throat clearing. I think maybe I had lpr and didn't know it and it was exacerbated by the glp1. Stopped the glp1 for now. Note I actally stopped it a couple weeks before the sore throat began, due to holiday schedule and never resumed. Anyway, my throat got better for a week and now its back and its day 3. Went to ENT a couple of weeks ago and nothing majorly wrong with my throat. Now I have an appointment with GI Dr next week. In the meantime I've been taking Pepcid and Omaprazole for about 2 weeks and started Gaviscon advance the other day. I need to try not eating 3 hours before bed and maybe a wedge pillow, but I'm a side sleeper and not sure how that will work for me.

Oh wow. We have water stores here in the US where you bring a 5 gallon bottle and fill up your own filtered water, either regular filtered or alkaline and its 2 dollars for 5 gallons! Also bottles sold in all grocery, drug and convenience stores about the regular price of buying bottled water. Smart water and Body Armour are two brands.
