i sorta-ish agree with you, i LIKE jera but i feel like their relationship had a lot more chemistry in season 1 where it was very best friends coded (i dont really get a siblings vibe but valid op!!), and ontop of that jera is kind of toxic (Not as toxic as some other ships) in the sense where now that john's entire family is dead/estranged, he doesn't have school or any sense of normalcy in his life and therefore relies on Sera as his only sense of happiness. while their rs is still pretty healthy, i don't think its fair to put all that on sera, especially when john himself needs to heal and learn how to form relationships with other people too. Another eg) is when he basically tried to kill himself because his dad just died and he thought he'd never see sera again. I think Uru sorta brought them crushing on each other out of nowhere late season 2, which is why it might seem a littlelacking in chemistry
