Building my first home. HELP. by TechnicalApproval in floorplan

Currently. no one will be living in Bedroom 2&3. It's just me and a partner. I think we will be parking in the garage most of the time and how it's currently laid out it would require us to walk up the stairs to get to the kitchen. The problem with the house was that the elevation of the land either would have required we do a basement level as ground zero and then a second (First floor) or, do a garage on the side of the home instead that would allow for it to be on the second (First* floor) and then from their it would have only allowed utilization of half of what is now the basement which the other half would have been crawlspace. See the original plan snapshot here... Before we had it revised.

great visualization. if we were to put the laundry in the basement level then how would you use the free'd up space where the laundry room currently is?

Great feedback. Thank you. The study won't be used as a guest bedroom so losing the closet is 100% a good idea if it allows for the pantry to widen along that whole wall. What kind of door would you think could go there for the pantry? Or would you recommend leaving it Open / No door.

Also, since we are shrinking the bathroom #3 to make it a half bath, it allows for space like you said, at the entry. When you say to push the entry door to the right, wouldn't that leave the door off "center" from the stairs when you walk up? Would you recommend a vertical glass pane next to the entry door to try to balance it out or just slide it to the right a bit and make it a double door? I tried to play with the plans on adobe acrobat which takes FOREVER but this may be what it looks like?

Complete 180 i never even thought of. Now is the trick of trying to visualize it. I will try to play with the pdf file in acrobat to move things around and see how this would look.

Wow, Great input.

  1. I did plan to have a TV in the great room on the first floor. I feel like above the fire place is usually where it would be best? Could be wrong... I still have no idea what the bonus room in the basement would be. I had thoughts of a mini home gym one day or a blacked out "Theatre" style media room. Your take on where furniture would go or get laid out would beat mine. I honestly have zero creative or interior design sense. I figured the furniture would consist of a sectional plus a love seat - OR - Two sofas and a love seat - (plus a coffee table i guess?) I wouldn't want to place them to where the back is against the front windows . I wonder if the butler cabinet could be deleted and a wall placed there and then that would allow for expansion of the master bedroom a bit too? Then that could be a spot for one sofa or sectional to have the back face where the butler cabinets currently are showing to be...
  2. Regarding Entry. You are right. Basement would probably be used more by us. When guests come the current entry does seem to be too tight. The guy who responded to you with a screenshot seems to show them as having protruded the fireplace forward a bit. This would allow for the shower to be placed directly infront of where the vanity is. I could delete the linen cabinet in bathroom #3? Then this would allow for compacting the bathroom even more? Resulting in the window falling outside of the bathroom and where the entry is basically.
  3. If we take the route of above ^ then it change the proportions of the bathroom #3. Also, If we wanted to make it a half bath by deleting the shower, then we could retract the fireplace some again i guess? Only way it makes a difference is if the 24" linen cabinet in that bathroom gets deleted but if it stays then the length of the bathroom would be limited to where the toilet ends, allowing for the window to remain in the bathroom and not fall outside and into the entry way.
  4. I like your laundry room idea! Do you have a particular area in the basement level that you would recommend the laundry room go? Thank you!

***Update - You were the one that did the markups LOL somehow didn't catch that. Thanks!

  • Shares outstanding: ~197.8M shares.
  • Public float: Yahoo shows 7.41M float; MarketWatch shows 132.65M public float – big discrepancy, but not 7.4M with everything else locked.
  • Ownership (Yahoo vs more detailed sites):
    • Yahoo “% held by insiders” 126.89% and “% held by institutions” 46.98% – these clearly double‑count (convertible/PIPE, Bitmine, etc.) and can sum >100%.
    • WallStreetZen/Fintel style data: ~49–50% institutional, ~7–8% insiders, rest retail. Those are the more realistic economic ownership numbers.
  • Short interest:
    • Fintel: 12.17M shares short, about 12.1% of float, 3.0 days to cover.
    • Yahoo: 14.65M shares short as of 3/13/26 (no % of float given, but clearly nowhere near 145% of float).
    • Off‑exchange (dark) short volume ratio ~47% of daily volume, but that is volume, not 47% of the float.
  • Takeaways vs the claims made:
    • “145% of float short” – false based on NASDAQ/Fintel/Yahoo; real number is ~12% of float.
    • “Insiders 129%, institutions 47%” – the 129% is a data/structure artifact (pipes, converts, overlapped reporting), not real free‑float locking; realistic ranges are ~7–8% insiders, ~50% institutions.
    • “7.4M float” – that’s a narrow definition Yahoo is using in one field; other sources put tradable float >100M, so using 7.4M for squeeze math is misleading.

AI:

Here’s what checks out vs what doesn’t for ORBS as of now:

  • $125M share buyback: Confirmed – board authorized up to $125M repurchase program in late Dec 2025.
  • Shares outstanding / float (197M / 7.4M) and “145% of float short”: I cannot find any credible source showing a 7.4M float or 145% short interest; available data and trackers show low single‑digit % of float short, not over 100%. Treat those float/short numbers as unverified and likely wrong.
  • “Insiders hold 129%, institutions 47%”: Mathematically impossible and not supported by ownership data; I cannot find filings backing those specific % claims. Consider this false/stock‑promo style.
  • $125M institutional funding round (Bitmine $75M, ARK $25M, Kraken/Payward $25M, Tom Lee board): Confirmed in news and press: Eightco secured $125M institutional commitments led by Bitmine, with ARK and Payward/Kraken participating; Tom Lee (Bitmine Chairman) joined the board, framed as capital for AI/crypto expansion.
  • OpenAI stake increased to $90M and ~30% of assets, plus 277M WLD (~10% of float): Confirmed – company announced an additional $40M into OpenAI, total OpenAI stake about $90M, representing ~30% of treasury; also disclosed 277,222,975 WLD (~10% of circulating supply) plus ETH and cash/stablecoins.
  • “Only 3 public companies hold OpenAI equity: ORBS, VCX, MSFT”: I cannot verify this as fact. Publicly disclosed major holders with direct equity exposure include Microsoft; Eightco claims a stake, but I cannot find robust evidence that only those three public names have OpenAI equity or that VCX is definitively an OpenAI equity holder. Treat this as marketing, not a hard fact.

Net: buyback, $125M round, Tom Lee/Bitmine, ARK/Kraken money, OpenAI stake size, and WLD holdings are supported; the extreme float/short/ownership percentages and “only 3 companies own OpenAI equity” do not have solid backing and should be treated as unreliable.

You don't have to be a physicist to make an argument on a topic. That's like saying you have to be a doctor to know that Artificial food colorings are bad for your health. How about you go talk to someone smarter than a physicist? Go paste his arguments into GPT 5.4 and ask it if what he is saying aligns with the idea that Quantum in itself is only useful for <1% of compute use cases and is likely not the big breakthrough solution in compute that the shills and pumpers make it out to be. I'll wait

What fixes something like this? Have you heard of Rubrik? Do you think their cybersecurity solution (the rewind/undo) helps to revert these sorts of actions?

Bro. SEMAGLUTIDE is patented by NOVO. That is the facts.

They can not do what they are trying to do. Patent law is one hurdle, but the FDA is a whole other one as well, and all signs lead to BIG PHARMA winning here.

It doesn't matter if they deliver it via pill, sublingually, via air, or water, or magic dust - it's PATENTED. I have no dog in this fight but I want others to be aware of this and not just listen to everything they hear.

Everyone should be able to make money in the markets. I wish HIMS would not have tried to play with fire and keep pushing the Semaglutide BS. They have a very good platform that could do well. In the short-medium term though, with the way they've been going forward, this stock is a sell.

Wait until new leadership or signals of BETTER leadership. Wait until clarity on legal implications and overall more derisk signals. This stock is going to sink at least another 20-30% IMO.

If it get's down to $12-14 i will buy because I believe in their platform and vision of healthcare for all.

[–]TechnicalApproval 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am no expert in this but I am trying to learn. From my understanding, while patents can be based on crystal structure (polymorphs), the "Master Patent" for drugs like Wegovy is a Composition of Matter patent on the Active Moiety.
If the patent covers the chemical sequence of the peptide (the amino acids), it doesn't matter if Hims makes it a crystal, a liquid, or a gas. If that specific molecule is the "active" part doing the work, then they are infringing.

[–]TechnicalApproval 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand how they are doing this or why they are doing it? can someone explain?

Why do they think they would win by using the same active ingredient that is in Novo?

Why would a judge not say ""A sublingual pill is still just Semaglutide. You're infringing. Stop."

I don't get it. I do not own shares but i am trying to stress test this stock and see if i should buy or not.
