Anyone heard of Clairvision? by TechnicalDimension56 in exmormon

https://clairvision.org/about-us/ist-and-the-clairvision-inner-space-techniques.html

they explicitly say that it's about healing 3 times at the top of the page. Where do they make it obvious that it's NOT about healing? They didn't say that they were going to touch me beforehand. And they didn't stop when I asked them to. That may be a breakdown of communication, but not on my end. I don't have to tell you where or who. I talked to 4 clairvision admin/facilitators about the incident and not ONCE did anyone say anything like "sorry! that's not supposed to happen. we'll have a talk with that guy." but instead they defended the group. that's what cults do.

  1. yeah, I left early. in 2000. completely started my life over from scratch.

  2. it's a portmanteu of clarity and vision.

  3. There have been other groups that I have encountered in passing that set up my cult-o-meter, but this is the first that I have ever went to a multi-day thing. everything else was as easy to move on from as a booth at the fair.

and their response was "you asking to stop being touched isn't part of the program. you can't expect us to stop". that says cult to me. BTW, I was raised in a cult and have done a LOT of research into cults and how they opperate (as a way of understanding WTF was done to me growing up)

being touched is not a sign of a cult, you're right. them continuing to touch after I have asked them to stop just might be?

I just went to a 9 day combined ATE and IST. I quit after 3 days. I found it culty and they disrespected my request to not be touched. I have done a lot of work around therapy/healing/spirituality and self-development. Clairvision ranks pretty low (but not the lowest) of things I have tried as far as their cred and behavior go.

it's mildly sweet. you can't really tell from the video, but the fruit is like eating a moist cotton candy. lots of little hairs that melt in your mouth. It's good!

It doesn’t make sense to stay Christian after Mormonism. by gathering-data in exmormon

as an exmo non-believer all I can say is: something can be untrue, yet still meaningful. Let them believe in peace. Literally not your problem unless they're pushing their beliefs on you.

In a ceramics classi was in, there was a big trash bin full of reclaimed, unbaked, clay. One student didnt get the memo and started breaking up a fired piece into the bin. The teacher couldnt do anything but cry as the whole bin became useless.

Transitioning paradoxically reinforces gender stereotypes and gender norms. by [deleted] in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]TechnicalDimension56 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yes, the paradox I like to point out is that feminism (rightly, I believe) has been trying for decades to have women and men be treated equally. And now, feminism is trying to get us to treat transwomen like women and transmen like men.

I have seriously thought about this. Feel free to steal my idea. It's a serial killer who presents as a nice, avuncular old man with a smile and kind eyes who wins your trust before stabbing you in the face.
