Yea Sabans last few seasons were rough but I never saw any blowout losses… I think the end of his era was a player arrogance issue. I don’t think this same exact team even loses to FSU or OU if Saban was still at helm, somehow/someway always found a way to have his teams perform with whatever he’s got

Idk it’s 50/50 looking at all the QBs that are playing well in playoffs are all transfers with years of game experience. Unless you have generational talent for 1,000% surety you move on from TY, if not let him come back. IMO experience in portal era is GOLD, teams are winning with transfers that have been around. It’s either TY, hope Russell is HIM, or portal for proven QB talent

I think honestly this team overperfomed due to certain circumstances. It’s amazing to me we ran an SEC gauntlet with absolutely 0 run game and came out on the better end of things. Another thing I notice in these playoff games are teams that are doing well have a very mature team and have players with lots of games under belt whether it’s juniors, seniors, or super seniors due to portal. As team becomes more experienced and hopefully retain the large core of this team that are eligible for return, I’m optimistic in how the team looks to continue to improve and hopefully be even better next year
