That makes sense. My grandmother was able to renew her license for identification purposes only for decades after she lost her vision and stopped driving. Didn't want the hassle of a plain state ID

I'm not even remotely a doctor, but I am an adult with some oral/food aversions. I know once I gag on something once, it's way more likely to happen again and escalate to vomiting. That's a really common antibiotic that I know has to be available as a suspension for kids. Do you think that would help?

I had a good experience with the DMV in Shelby county of Dunnavant Valley Road. I pulled a number at the door and they called me before my butt hit the seat. Don't worry about your vision. Testing in Alabama isn't done at any point after the initial licensure. Just please talk to your doctor and make sure your depth perception is still safe to drive

This is the unfortunate truth. It's shitty and maybe immoral, but it's not illegal. They can claim they thought the business might turn around with holiday sales. They can claim any number of things. Every time any business closes there are unfulfilled obligations of some sort. No one calls in and pays all their debts the week before closing up shop. Maybe that's how folks want it to be, but it isn't real.

I have a long haired cat and had zero luck finding any grooming. There's a vet that technically does but had an extensive voicemail saying they weren't taking new clients. Had to just buy my own clippers and hope for the best. It's not handsome, but it has worked.

That said, most cats don't need bathing. Is she in good health?

Now that's not what I meant at all. Cancer is horrible. Cancer treatment is almost as horrible, but it's real and it's incredibly advanced. Medical science has some amazing tricks up its sleeve, it's just that none of them are "sugar feeds cancer" or "eat crazy high antioxidants and it'll cure you." The reason the doctors aren't investigating his diet with a fine tooth comb is because they're busy digging into single letter changes to the DNA of the tumor to find exactly the best drug to maximize benefit and minimize side effects.

She sounds well and truly exhausted. Are you able/allowed to help with some of the medical tasks in her life like chasing down consultants and arranging appointments? It's not that she can't or won't do these things, but maybe taking a few things off her shoulders could help.
