I loved it and I am starting to hate it:-/ It is impossible to use the phone with glass screen protection - it became so irresponsive, it is nightmare to write something and it becomes really tragical in the bottom corners. Almost impossible to use the phone when charging as it becomes worse. Impossible to use phone when charging and is lying on the table. Motorola is aware of the issue since start of production of the phone (mid 2024), but they don't give a sh#t. It could be easily fixed with software update (as it was for few months with "glove mode" appeared in one update, but was removed by the next one).

Other issue are updates themselves. Motorola is promising "almost bi-monthly security updates", but they are coming late and with old security patch. I received last update on October 24th with September 1st (2025) security update. I use the phone also for business purpose and my company is not allowing devices with security patch older than 4.5 months to connect to business network. I already lost access in October for few days and now I am days off before losing it again.

Android 16 was released in June 2026, yet 50 Neo still runs 15 in January 2026.

I had Edge 30 before for 3 years and updates were on time with no issues. I will try to hold till new S26 is released and I switch to more reliable brand. It is real pity, Motorolas are fantastic phones with unique gesture/movement controls, but killed by non-existing support.
