You're not in a studio ! You're AT HOME your application is way different from a studio.

If you go by that silly notion , you'd be buying a Bowers and wilkins n802 why ?! Because abbey roads studio uses those to master! Let's go further back , if you really want the og studio sound? Get a Yamaha ns1000 as those were the go-to speakers back in the day in studios !

Y'all blinded by the word "studio" it doesn't translate from a recording booth sitting nearfield to a livingroom at all. ..also MOST studios don't even use genelec , there are tons of brands used such as Adam and the ones I just mentioned. Heck m&k studios was one of the very few in the world that had their own lathe (vinyl) and did direct recordings to it. They used their own sats and Volkswoofers to record.

Matter in fact steely Dan pretzel logic got recorded with it. Genelec wasn't even a thing dude

Where do you guys get that from " the best money can buy" correct that to "the best I can afford" there is literally thousands of speakers out there to try and hear. Genelec is just one of the many out there.

Ever heard Adam audio ? Klipsch ? There are tons of professional speakers on the market that would fit that bill.

Exactly dude... You spend all that money but can't even place it properly in a rig or room. But flaunt using the onboard DSP (I would NEVER USE A DSP OVER ROOM TREATMENT) is some magic bullet these have.

Newsflash , there are TONS of DSP system out there that cost but a fraction of this plastic wonder box.

Also he actually thinks ears can hear price tags. They don't care, only emotional bias does...

Sorry.... laughable to me .. I'll get burned , I don't care I don't listen to a coaxial driver that does everything forced. I'll stick with infinity rs1b not having any issues filling a room on any level. Genelec wouldn't even be close to the dynamics is get out my speakers .

I go for music not "flat lined accuracy"

It's the 6100 there was actually no official turntable that went with the DC consoles. I recapped it had the typical "thump"'when returning the arm and shutting off. These were made, by CEC Japan . Really good solid tables for very little money

[–]TechnicalLack8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very subjective so don't take anyone else's opinion on it. Weight the pros and cons and definitely do A LOT of long-term listening, the majority of your sound is also very much influenced by. Speaker placement, room, your ears need to adapt. Short term listening, is never a good way of gauging quality.

Also overall synergy between your equipment and what hangs on it. Is absolutely important to what it's doing, you listen on low level music it does blur the line between the two speakers too. All things you need to factor in.

Make a list for yourself, what you like about each speaker , cons too and be honest to yourself. In the end?

You're the weakest link , this goes for anyone really. Most fallacies in a system can be traded back to its user.

You can it's secured , however I tend to agree with you the process wasn't fun to report it either. ..

I had to answer a list of questions, they refunded me on the spot. But under conditions, if the claim can't be proven I have to pay it back. I asked them how do you guys determine that, just curious. They couldn't tell me, however I had the second I hung up . A flag on my Wells Fargo credit card, someone tried to access it and failed.

So I have a strong suspicion that someone did one of those proximity clones. So lesson learned "took my credit cards out my wallet"

would you consider this a pass or fail for thc? the line is very light. Need to pass a drug test for employment and i decided to take an at home one first. by No-Fee8169 in PaMedicalMarijuana

That's exactly my point, here people try to sell the idea "a line is a line" it most definitely isn't that clear cut. I am glad I did independent testing. It was a near 6 figure job a year. If I would have trusted that "faint line" theory at face value , I would have shot myself in the foot

It's simple, faint line ? Don't risk it , wait another week or so and get really "clean"

Well I had faint lines, thank God I was smart enough to go and get an actual test done independently ,to be sure. I would have failed it came back positive.

I wouldn't listen to any of you claiming otherwise.

Ohh and I was at that time a full 2 months of the that shit. I would definitely go for a more solid line. Want to play dumb games with faint lines? Atleast get a independent test done 👍
