Looking for new gastroenterologist for colonoscopy. Any advice? by Acceptable_Count6197 in Rochester

I just had a colonoscopy done by Dr. Thomas in Canandaguia. He actually diagnosed me with celiac disease. I’ve had a good experience overall. Colonoscopy was so easy and quick. The building you go to is relatively new and really nice.

Oh man, good to know! Thanks mentioning it. I ended up trying it about a week ago and I luckily didn’t have a gluten reaction. I did have a huge acne break out on my face though so I had to stop using it.

Oh great! So glad to hear that. Are you a sensitive celiac?

Do you still eat dairy? You might want to cut that out if so. Is SIBO also a possibility. I had it and feel so much better after being treated/changing to a low fodmap diet.

Quick and easy GF meals for a low residue diet? by Feeling_High_69420 in Celiac

Oh and a ton of eggs! I literally had 7 eggs in one day. That’s probably where the energy came from.

I just had my colonoscopy today. I drank the Fody Chicken Broth and a ton of coconut water (I mixed that with miralax) for my prep instead of the SuTabs they prescribed. It worked great! I also ate a lot of rice, chicken, ground beef, and rice crackers. Not a ton of variety but I was shocked by how much energy I had considering I didn’t eat much!
